~~~1ST PERSON P.O.V.:SHELLY🦖~~~

It was another day at Gardenview. I had just finished showing a few kids around the museum of all the fossils. Usually I'm performing on my show, but nobody was really watching anyway..so I just decided to come out here!

I decided to skip around, waiting for anyone to come and ask for help or ask for facts. Hopefully, someone would..notice.

Minutes passed on, all the children and families laughing together. Oh how sweet it was, it's so nice to see people get along. I looked at my watch, it was almost closing time! I should probably start closing the doors. Don't want Dandy getting mad again for letting people overstay.

Once I finally got everyone out of the museum, I sat down on a bench. I was quite exhausted even if it was just showing guest around and yapping about dinosaurs.

It was around 8pm, still 2-3 hours until my usual sleeping time. Maybe I could get a sweet treat from Sport and Cosmos bakery meanwhile, it could help kill some time.

As I started my walk to s
Sprouts bakery, I noticed multiple toons coming out from there usual places where they work. But one stood out like always...Vee.

She had been my crush for a while. I always admired her from afar since she never really noticed me, but that's okay!

I took a few seconds to look at her before she turned at where I was, both of us locking a glance at each other. Quickly breaking it, I ran off.

I dashed out of those doors, god that was so embarrassing. Hopefully she doesn't realize I was staring or anything. Way to go Shelly, she's going to probably never talk to you cause of that. I shook my head, I need to stay optimistic about this.

I sauntered down the path to Sprouts bakery, constantly thinking of the past events. I was so caught up with the past events I didn't even realize I had made it to the bakery.

I knocked, opening the door carefully to be greeted by Sprout and Cosmo.

"Ah, hey Shelly! We were about to close up but we don't mind you staying around real quick!" Sprout announced, placing down the tray of cookies. "What are you in the mood for?"

"Mmm, a slice of pie sounds fine." I said, pointing at the slice of pumpkin pie on the counter.

"Ah, right ahead! On the house aswell!" Sprout said, moving the plate to infront of me.

"Thank you, Sprout." I thanked him, grabbing the fork and digging in.

"So, Shelly...whats been up with you recently?" Sprout asked, pulling a chair out next to Shelly.

"Ah uh, nothing! I'm fine." I lied, everything had not been fine the past couple days.

"You sure? You've seen a but more..sluggish recently." Sprout pointed out. He was right.
