Kabir is an absolute all-rounder. He is god gifted with high intellect, attractive looks, a great sense of humour, and a charming personality. Everybody adores him, particularly the girls. They go crazy over his romantic poetry, enthralling singing and guitar performances. Moreover, he is a topper in academics too.
What a life! Isnt it? What else can a boy in school ask for?
But this is all in his black hole-like imagination. It is the alternate reality that he has meticulously constructed in his mind. This fictional world is his main source of motivation to survive in the real world. To survive all the bullies in school, his academic failures, his violent and depressed home environment, and his loneliness. This imaginative world is his coping mechanism from all the cruelties at his disposal in the real world. Kabir creates and visualizes multiple scenarios within a split second, in his mind with open eyes. Whenever something bad, ugly or cruel happens to him in the real world, his super creation mode gets activated and subsequently, he gets immersed in that for hours and hours. Post this, he feels good and again gets back to normality.
For Kabir, his creation feels more real than the actual real world. Slowly and slowly, he has now lost touch with the actual reality. Hence, losing his ability to perform any fruitful or hardworking action that can materialize and make him successful in the real world.
Living in the two worlds simultaneously will have disastrous long-term effects on Kabir's psyche and overall personality development. It seems like he will practically never achieve anything in life. He doesn't need to. Every kind of success, pleasure, romance, and authority gets created, as per his whims and fancies, in the blink of an eye.
Should Kabir ever get out of this never-ending loop of a fictional world? What if he abandons his creation and subsequently, cannot bear the realities of his cruel surroundings? Furthermore, god knows, how many other Kabirs are there in this world who are stuck in this life-threatening loop and up to how much time will they survive like this. Upon entering adulthood, they will be in the most confused, painful state of mind.
Can Kabir finally accept his actual reality and progress in the real world in the later stages of his life? There is no immediate answer to it at hand. After all, living in his creation is the most satisfying and addictive experience for Kabir since childhood. Maybe he is still busy fighting his realities in adulthood.
