This was a silly little idea I had. Also I know that the position Steve is in technically wouldn't work for any longer then twenty minutes but it is possible it's just hurt like heck. Like a lot of pain but it is doable so don't at me. Also in this Nancy and Jonathan did go to college together but eventually found out they didn't like each other in that way anymore, Nancy ending up with Robin and Jonathan with Argyle. And we never find out the fourth Hellfire/ Corroded Coffin member's name in the show. We know there's Gareth, Jeff and Doug but the fourth one has no name so in this he's Sebastian okay. That's all changed, everything else is the same. Anyways enjoy this silly little smutty angsty fic.

Steve Harrington knew better than to make dumb high school bets with people, and he definitely knew better than to make one with Eddie Munson. Yet here he was on his third bottle of beer about to jump in the pool. Eddie made an offhand comment about how he could hold his breath for really long even while he was drunk. He said he could hold it for 3 minutes. Everyone else was like no you can't so Eddie said he could prove it, and Steve had to open his big mouth and say "Eddie, man there's no way you can. Even if you could, I could hold it way longer than you. I used to be on the school swim team, AND I taught the middle school swim team in my free time." Eddie smiled as he looked at Steve, "Oh if you're so sure you could beat me why don't we make a little bet. Whoever loses has to do WHATEVER the other person says for 24 hours, and I truly mean whatever." Steve wasn't one to back down and he hastily agreed and thus started the bet. They would both jump in the pool and they would put their heads under water at the same time, whoever came up first lost. When Robin signaled they both went under, and Steve could barely see Eddie underwater but what he could see was Eddie looked calm. Like this was nothing for him, and Steve was mad because he could feel his lungs starting to burn. Eddie hadn't even shifted when Steve pushed himself to the surface. Steve growled angrily as he slapped the surface of the water, "DAMN IT!" Everyone else was laughing and they realized Eddie still hadn't come up, "Should we be worried? What if something's wrong?" As they were all now talking in worried voices and Steve almost went under again to pull Eddie up, he surfaced. Eddie looked like a drowned rat with his hair just completely covering his face, as he pushed the wet hair from his eyes he looked confused, "What wrong? You guys just said something was wrong?" They all shook their heads and Robin playfully shoved him. "Jesus asshole! We thought you drowned or something." He laughed as he pulled himself up so he was sitting on the side of the pool, "nah don't worry that pretty little head of yours Buckley, my personal best is six minutes underwater. I'm all good, that was nothing." Everyone stared because no way that's true, but Steve slowly turned so he was facing Eddie. "So I guess you win or something." Eddie laughed, "Sure did baby girl. Now I don't know about you guys but I think it's time we go back to partying huh?" Everyone kind of nodded and almost quickly fell back into the swing of things, but the entire time Steve looked off whenever he talked to Eddie. Nancy just said it was because he was a sore loser and to give him time.

So, now it was a month and a half later and Eddie still hasn't called on Steve to claim his prize. Had he won he would've been all over making Eddie do anything he wanted for 24 hours, he would've used it immediately. But tonight he didn't really care. He had come back home from a long night shift at Family Video and Dustin had needed a ride home from the Wheeler's where Mike was having a one shot DND session so he had to drive him home even after work killed him. Steve and Eddie had both saved up from their jobs to try and move out of their old houses and Steve's parents reluctantly helped out when they heard he was moving out, and they had just enough to buy a little house for themselves. They loved living together, although not too many people actually knew about it because well it was Hawkins. They knew if anyone found out they were dating AND living together that they'd probably be driven out of town with their house burned down. Everyone was still trying to accept that Eddie was't a serial killer. However, ever since they moved into their new house together, driving the kids anywhere was hard because they lived on the other side of town now. Steve didn't mind it because Max was working on getting her license and Will wasn't too far behind her so they said it wouldn't be for much longer (although Steve wasn't entirely too set on Max driving anyone anywhere ever again) so he just had to keep driving them around until then. Besides he'd told all the parents he'd look after them and Nancy and Jonathan were busy with college so they couldn't always help out either. After coming home Steve was exhausted and even Eddie could see that, so he just made them dinner and let Steve relax. Didn't really bother him or try to talk to him about it. Although when they were getting ready for bed Steve did have to turn down Eddie's offer to help him relax in "other ways'' even though he very badly didn't want to. Steve just felt bad because he always wanted to give Eddie a hundred percent of his attention whenever they did anything of that sort together and Steve knew he couldn't do that tonight. So he turned him down instead. Eddie kind of understood but when they went to bed finally he was a little standoff-ish and Steve was worried he'd made Eddie mad by accident by turning him down because he never had before. This was the first time Steve had ever said no to Eddie.
