I stood up from my chair as Davina entered the room, my eyes running over the towel wrapped around her body.

It was a struggle to keep my gaze on her face and not drop lower, my dark eyes flickering over the water droplets on her skin.

Dante cleared his throat, breaking the silence.

"Vina, you remember Killian, don't you?" he asked.

Davina's gaze flickered over me, her gray eyes assessing me. The hostility in her demeanor was obvious, but I'd expected it; she wasn't exactly welcoming.

"Yeah, I remember him," she replied, her voice cool.

Dante chuckled, shaking his head slightly. "No need to be so unwelcoming, Vina," he said.

Davina rolled her eyes at her father's comment.

"Well, I'm not exactly thrilled to see him," she muttered, giving me a sidelong glance.

I tried to hide the smirk that tugged at the corners of my lips.

"Pleasure to see you too, princess," I said, letting the old nickname slip out just to see her reaction.

Davina's eyes flashed with annoyance at the nickname, her jaw setting defiantly.

"Don't call me 'princess', you prick," she snapped, her voice laced with venom.

Damn, it was so easy to rile her up. I loved it.

I chuckled, leaning back in my chair the moment I sat down, my eyes never leaving hers as I continued to smirk.

"Relax, princess," I teased, knowing full well I'd get under her skin even more.

Davina's jaw clenched tighter as she tried to keep herself calm. I could practically see the steam coming out of her ears.

She wasn't happy not even the slightest bit.

My gaze flicked down her body again, noticing how the towel hugged her curves. Even wrapped up, it was clear she had an amazing body.

I dragged my eyes back up to her face, meeting her furious gaze.

"You know, princess, you're looking pretty damn good," I said, my voice laced with an edge of mockery.

Davina's eyes widened, clearly not expecting that.

I could tell she was trying to think of a response, mentally fuming as she struggled to come up with a retort. But she was too worked up to think straight.

Finally, she seemed to find her voice.

"Excuse me?" she managed to snap, her eyes narrowing.

I leaned back in my chair, my smirk growing wider. "You heard me. You look good," I repeated, letting my gaze wander over her again.
