Lilly POV

I land on the grass next to my bags with a thud. I managed to land on my feet, but didn't manage to stick the landing. Falling onto my back.

I pick myself up running my hands through my hair, and brushing off my back that had bits of grass and dirt on it. I grab my Nike bag and swing the straps over my shoulders. I pick up my suitcase and start walking away from the house. As I was walking down the empty street I realised that my mum had gone out and would be getting home soon.

I pushed that thought to the back of my mind as I turn left going into the local park. I sit down underneath a tree, dropping my bags at my feet.

I close my eyes, exhausted from walking for so long and resting my head back on the tree trunk. I'd been planning to escape for a while now, but I hadn't really thought about where I would go once I did escape.

~~

About an hour later, after I had been sitting under the tree and watching the world go by. I decide that it's time that I actually find myself a place to stay the night. It's not dark yet, but I don't want to leave it too late when all the places are closed.

I'm walking along the pavement when I see a sign for a hotel. It doesn't look very fancy from the outside. But that doesn't matter, all that matters is I found myself a place that I can stay in for a while.

I walk into the reception area, wheeling my suitcase behind me as I'm walking up to the lady at the front desk.

The lady looks up at me and smiles sweetly at me as I approach the desk. I see her name tag, "Lisa". "Hello, how can I help you?" She asks, "Uhh, do you have any spare rooms that I can stay in." I say, "Just for tonight." I quickly add.

She smiles and looks back down at her computer, "Let's see what I can do for you."

I stand there looking around the room. Taking in my surroundings. There's an elderly couple sitting on a couch in the corner near the front window. A family of four wheeling suitcases outside to their car. And a whole lot more people coming in and out.

"I can do you a single room, for either one or two nights." She says, looking back up at me. "Two nights, please." I say. She nods and books the room for me.

Thank god. I have a place to stay for the first two nights of...well...I don't know.

"And what was the name?" She asks, "Lilly, Lilly Tomlinson." I respond fidgeting with the drawstrings of my hoodie.

She stops typing and looks up at me, studying my face.

"I thought I recognised you!" She smiles. "You're Louis Tomlinson's sister!" She says. Ok imma be honest I wasn't expecting that. "Uh, yeah. I am." I smile back.

She looks back down at the computer and continues to type, "My daughter absolutely loves One Direction. Louis's her favourite." She says not looking up.

I just laugh awkwardly and pray that she finishes soon so I can just go to my room.

"Alright I've got that booked for you, that's $220 thanks. Cash or card?"

"Uhm, card please." I say grabbing my purse from my bag, grabbing my debit card out. "When you're ready." She says, placing the card machine on the counter in front of me.

I quickly pay, and put my card back in my bag. "Would you like a receipt for that?" She asks. "Uhm no thanks." I say smiling as she hands me a key card and tells me I'm in room 28 floor 4.

"Thank you." I say smiling, and walking away towards the elevator. Going up to floor 4.

I'm looking at the numbers on the doors of the rooms, searching for number 28.

I finally find it and open the door placing my bags down, locking the door behind me. I walk into the bathroom and wash my face and hands with the cool water.
