I love youuu!

Nicolette 💙 [10:47 am]: I love youu!

After reading Colet's message, I eventually hide my phone in my pocket as I walk towards the cafeteria. The sun is shining brightly, casting long shadows on the pavement.

Pagdating ko dun, nakita ko agad sina Sheena, laughing and chatting animatedly.

I make my way to our usual table, weaving through clusters of students engrossed in their own conversations and dodging a couple of hurrying latecomers.

When I reach our spot, I gently lay my things on the table. I take my seat next to Gwen, which is Colet's usual spot when she's around. Gwen gives me a quick smile before returning to her phone.

"Wala si ate Colet?" Sheena asks as soon as I sit down, her eyes scanning the area as if expecting Colet to appear any second.

"May isang subject pa siya tapos meron silang meeting after, so 'di na daw siya makakasabay mag-lunch," sagot ko.

"Grabe, ramdam ko na talaga na last year natin. Hindi na tayo lahat halos magkita-kita," Stacey comments as she rests her cheek on her hand, her expression tinged with a bit of nostalgia.

"Sinabi mo pa. Lalo 'tong si Jho at si ate Colet. Andaming ganap sa buhay kela, dinaig pa 'yung mga honor student sa klase," Sheena adds, chuckling as she points it out.

"Nagsalita ang dalawa na halos ginagabi na rin lagi umuuwi," I playfully roll my eyes, smiling at them. "Kahit kayo, busy na rin lagi."

"Tama na 'yan. Bumili na tayo doon, gutom na'ko," Gwen says, standing up and leading the way as we head to buy our lunch.

I was gently waiting in line next to Sheena and Stacey, the smell of food making my stomach growl, when suddenly someone calls me.

"Jho?"

"Adie!" I smiled, acknowledging Adie.

He stands in front of me, not in line, which means he is not here for lunch.
