I will here describe creatures, concepts and environments from my own personal universe that I have been crafting and growing for several years...
Architects: After the creation of each reality, the four primordials create a new pantheon of biomechanical gods called architects. Those creatures are instructed to build the inner structures of each universe and create life for them. A pantheon can contain from a 100 up to thousands of architects. In each pantheon, a leader or group of leaders often takes control of the creation process, instructing and ordering the other gods to follow them and help fullfill their vision. This has often lead to conflicts and disputes in between the gods, and in one case the pantheon completely destroyed itself, all gods fighting and killing each other. This inner chaos is caused by the freedom given to the architects: the primordials order them to structure each universe, however the pantheon is given free rein to design reality however they would desire. Every reality is different and so is every pantheon, in their behavior and their appearance. In each pantheon, architects are designed with similar characteristics all in order for them to better work with each other. Some pantheons look like heavily weaponized warriors, experts in combat and war strategies, while others posses more abstract forms and favor philosophy and emotions when crafting their reality. In this present reality, most architects have been decimated throughout ancient wars. Their sacrifices served to protect many universes and the life they contained against the chaos. The few survivors either have isolated themselves far from prying eyes, or manipulate important civilizations from the shadows. Who knows what twisted plans they might be crafting. Few know about the architects, but those who do often go on a quest to find their lost treasures and weapons that are rumored to contain such power that they could guarantee their owner the domination of their universe. Despite their great freedom, there is one golden rule that binds all architects. If a reality dies so must it's pantheon. If an architect was ever led to survive the death of it's reality, and invade a another, the consequences would be catastrophic and would put all of reality in danger.
