Aarnav took Diya with him to get her wound checked and dressed.

Thankfully it wasn't that deep and simple dressing and ointment would work.

Both of them thanked the Doctor and walked out.

D- Thank you so much Mr. Arnab.

Aarnav chuckled.

A- please call me Aarnav simply not Mr. And there's no need to thank me,this is the bare minimum I can do.

By the way what are you doing here in this hospital?
All ok?

D- yeah. I mean everything's fine.
Actually you met Dr. Mitra right. You can say he's my guide or my god father.
I'm going to join MBBS soon so here I'm today just to accompany him and learn or better to say pre-experience medical related things though I won't be able to understand maximum of it but still it's exciting.

A- Wow! that's great and Congratulations for getting into MBBS.

D- Thank you.
It was really nice meeting you Mr.Aar... Aarnav playfully glared at her ...
Ah....I mean Aarnav.

A- My pleasure to meet such a wonderful courageous girl.

Oh yes and you wanted to meet grandma right. Come I'll take you.

Aarnav took Diya to Dadi's cabin and allowed her to enter and he himself remained outside and watched Dadi from the small glass watch piece as he doesn't have the courage to see her in that condition.

Diya entered and was stepping towards Dadi's bed. It was the best premium cabin in the hospital which doesn't at all look like hospital, it screams luxury but the beeping sound, the drips and several other monitors, ECG shows the reality behind this luxury, life is so uncertain.

Just few days ago she met this kind hearted old lady at the Mandir who was standing on her own two feet now lying there fighting for her life. Her life depends on the machines around.

She felt very bad seeing Dadi in this state.

She slowly walked near her and sat on the stool and very gently kept her hand on Dadi's hand.

Feeling some gentle touch, Dadi slowly opened her eyes and saw an unknown figure. She was trying to figure out and Diya was just smiling warmly and holding her sofly like giving her some kind of strength and assurance.

Then Dadi remembered that she has seen her that day in mandir.

(Grandma- G & Diya- D)

G- Areh beta, tum yaha! Kaise?
I remember you, we met at the mandir right!
What's your name?

D- Yes Ma'am. I'm Diya. I'm glad you remembered me.

G- Areh beta, don't call me Ma'am. Call me Dadi.. I'll be happy if such a sweet named, beautiful girl like you calls me Dadi.

D- Ok Dadi ☺️. How are you feeling now?

G- Much better beta. But don't know how long I'll...

Diya didn't let her complete..

D- No Dadi please don't say that. I know you're strong and you'll fight through this. Your family needs you Dadi. They love you so much. They're waiting for you to become healthy again. Please stay strong.

I'll pray for your health to Lord Krishna. He'll surely protect you. Trust me.

Dadi became so emotional by listening to her encouraging words. She was really wondering how can someone so young in this generation be this kind and thoughtful to say all these to a stranger, afterall they do not know each other properly yet. They have only met once and then also hardly for a minute or two.
