ARTHUR LEYWIN'S POV:

The incident at the Dire Tombs culminated in a hearing at the Adventurers' Guild jury room. Lucas's adventuring license was revoked, and I, as Adventure Note, received a ban from entering Xyrus City and being anywhere near Lucas and his family, the Wykes house.

After the hearing, the group gathered to thank me for my efforts. Brald announced his retirement, mentioning that he should be fully healed in a month or two. Samantha, Reginald, and Kriol decided to take a break from adventuring to go on a much-needed vacation. Elijah mentioned that his guardian had summoned him to the Drav Kingdom, which hinted at some mysterious connection he might have with Drav, as I had expected.

With the aftermath settled, I made my way back to Xyrus along with Jasmine and Mistral. Although Note was banned, Arthur Leywin was not, and no one knew my true identity-except perhaps Kaspian.

Returning to Xyrus felt like slipping back into a familiar yet covert role. "We are home now, Sylv."

Sylvie let out an excited chirp of "Kyu" in response. Jasmine then asked, "Are you excited to meet your family after such a long time?"

I smiled and replied, "Yes, very excited. While I do come home at least once every couple of months, I've only been in contact through letters for the last nine or ten months. It'll be nice to see them face to face again."

Jasmine nodded, as a sad smile crept on her face. While I don't know the full story, Jasmine has pretty much told me about her past and her family. Mistral, in her smaller form, perched on Jasmine's shoulder and rubbed her face as if telling her 'We are here,'.

As we approached the city gates, the familiar sights and sounds of Xyrus welcomed us. It felt good to be back.

A couple of days have passed since we returned to Xyrus. I gave some of the fire-type B-class and A-class mana beast cores I had saved during our adventures to my father, who had been stuck at the light orange stage. These cores should help him break through to dark yellow.

Speaking of cores, Jasmine and I used the Elderwood Guardian core we got from the Dire Tombs. I wasn't able to break through to the next stage since I had only recently reached dark yellow, and progressing too fast could be detrimental. However, Jasmine finally entered the initial silver stage.

When we checked the core, there was still a lot of mana left. Sylvie asked if she could have it because she felt close to some breakthrough. Mistral also mentioned that the core would be beneficial for Sylvie, as it seemed like she was on the verge of crossing into the SS-class.

Thinking it was a good idea, I gave it to her. I still didn't know what had happened to Sylvia, and if what she said about having something the horned demon was true, and it was Sylvie, it would be better for Sylvie to be strong.

Sylvie took the core from my hand, and with a loud crunch, she crushed it into her mouth and absorbed the mana. For about ten seconds, nothing happened. Then suddenly, her mana spiked, and a pressure equivalent to at least five times that of the Elderwood Guardian was released from her. Her aura was astonishing.

While Mistral and I weren't much affected, me having the experience of fighting wars in a previous life, and Mistral being of a higher class-the same couldn't be said for Jasmine, who instinctively activated her first phase [Blade Tornado] to resi...

While Mistral and I weren't much affected, me having the experience of fighting wars in a previous life, and Mistral being of a higher class-the same couldn't be said for Jasmine, who instinctively activated her first phase [Blade Tornado] to resist Sylvie's aura.

The clash of their two auras created tremendous pressure on the entire Helstea mansion. I told Sylvie to control her aura, but she said she couldn't. It took about five minutes for Sylvie to gain control, as Jasmine also released her beast will, returning to normal. I was pretty sure that everyone in the house was unconscious because of the incident.

I immediately went to check if anyone was present in the house and found a few unconscious servants. After waking them up, I asked where everyone was. They told me that my mom and Ellie, along with Aunt Tabitha, had gone shopping and that my dad and Vincent were also out on business. I sighed in relief as they explained this.

I told them that Jasmine and I had been practicing some spells, which resulted in the commotion, and asked them to keep quiet about the incident. Fortunately, they trusted me enough and agreed to keep it a secret.

And that is how another peaceful day passed, Jasmine was also going to meet Twins Horns at the guild hall today, as they had also just completed their raid recently.

I said goodbye to Jasmine and Mistral as they both departed.

A couple more days have passed since Jasmine and Mistral departed, I think I have gotten so used to being with them that now it feels odd to be not with them. But, now I've been focusing on my family and their progress. Ellie hasn't been training much, but her progress is nothing short of astonishing. I checked how far she's come in forming a core, and it seems she will awaken in 5-6 months.

She's also joined a school for young noble ladies, where she's learning etiquette and basic household skills. However, these skills seem to be reserved for public display because, despite being asleep now while cuddling Sylv, she made a fuss earlier, insisting she wouldn't go to bed unless I stayed with her until she fell asleep.

Ellie's birthday is coming up soon, and I can tell she's eagerly wondering what present I'll give her. Knowing her, she would probably love anything I give her as long as I put some thought into it. But with my personality, I wanted to give her something functional as well.

I've made quite a fortune while adventuring, so money isn't an issue. I want to give her something that will keep her safe, especially once she awakens her core. I couldn't think of anything specific, so maybe I should ask Uncle Vincent to introduce me to some researchers who might have good ideas. Considering that I went to sleep.

A/N: These were a few of the inconsistencies I wanted to address before starting the Xyrus Academy Arc. It's essentially a summary rather than a chapter, as you can tell. I won't be writing the whole Gideon thing and Lance's announcement because I am pretty sure you guys are not interested in that boring stuff, but if you want to recall it just go and skim through Manhwa real fast. The next chapter will start with Arthur going to Xyrus Academy.

Peace out~
