---Monday---

I woke up early in the morning to cook breakfast for me and grandma. After cooking some fried egg, ham, shrimp and rice, I heat water from the teapot and made a hot chocolate.

I took a cup and poured the hot chocolate in it, after that, I took a sip on it then went to the door and opened it 'cause I thought I heard someone knocking.

"Hi!" Terence greeted suddenly so I jumped a bit in surprise.

"Eek!!" I screamed.

"Good morning!" Darren greeted while smiling, he stood next to Terence.

"Wait, why are the two of you here so early in the morning?" I asked wondering because it was so rare that these two woke up early and came to visit me.

What's in their mind now? Did they ate something? As I remember, I was the one always came first to their apartment to wake them up... What a miracle...

"Because this is our turn to wait for you," Terence said while smiling.

"But why did you just thought of that now?" I asked doubtful.

"Why? Is that not allowed?" Darren asked.

"Not really, but--" I was about to continue my sentence when they entered straight inside our house without my permission.

"Hey, I didn't even allowed you to enter our house yet." I complained. They just sat on the sofa in the living room and rested their back.

"You still didn't get used  to it, did you? We always did this before but you just complained now?" Terence asked.

"Yeah... But this is the first time both of you went to our house in this hour, it's 5:30am you know.." I said, still couldn't believe.

"Oi Neri, we haven't eaten breakfast yet. Can we eat here?" Darren asked.

"So you're just here to eat breakfast..  You two are so unfair." I murmured.

"Why? We just really liked your cooking, because you cooked delicious that's why " Terence chuckled.

"Liar.." I pouted.

"No, I'm not." Terence said.

I sighed then proceeded to the kitchen to prepare breakfast. I took some plates when Darren appeared behind me and grabbed the plates that I'm holding.

"I'll do that for you." Darren insisted.

"But, I can do that myself." I refused.

"Ssshh, your Grandma is still sleeping, you don't want to disturb her, right?" he whispered  then put the plates on the table.

"Hey Nerissa.." I noiticed Terence walked towards me, I looked at him and waited for him to speak.

"Before we eat.. ." Terence trailed.

"What is it?" I asked.

He then leaned on me then smelled my head, "You're smelly, but you still smells aromatic for me," Terence whispered teasingly.

I blushed so hard then backed away from him immediately.

"D-don't even joke to me like that! It's n-not funny!" I walked away and quickly went to the shower room to bathe.

"Eh? But it's true, you still smells good even if you're still not taking a bath." Terence said.

"Sh-shut up!" My voice echoed inside the shower room.

"Don't make fun of her like that. Remember, We're not little kids anymore." Darren told Terence.

"Yeah.. But... I wish we could turn back to our childhood days so that we can shower together with her." Terence was whispering to himself but Darren and I can still hear it.

As I heard those words from Terence, my eyes widened and my heart began beating fast again, I held my chest tight while letting the blush spread on my entire face.

Why? Why am I acting like this while they didn't even changed?

"Shut up! You don't know what you're talking, you stupid!" I heard Darren yelled.

"Ouch! Why'd you do that? It hurts!" Terence yelled back.

"Because you don't use your brain, you dummy!" Darren said.

"Don't call me that!" Terence muttered.

After their argument, the place went silent again like the time when they're still not here. I'm done showering so I wrapped my towel around my body before I went out. I slowly opened the shower room's door and took a glance to where the two were.

I saw Terence sleeping on one of the chair while resting his back on it.

Where is Darren?

As I looked at the table, I saw him sitting while staring at me  My cheeks heat up when I noticed him.

"Uh-uhm, why are you staring at me like that?" I asked, feeling embarrassed.

"Huh? Oh, nothing.. You showered too long, go to your room and get change already." Darren said while looking away at my direction.

"O-okay!" I quickly ran towards my room and got changed to my uniform.

As I got out of my room, I saw them waiting at the table.

"Well, let's eat?" Darren asked then I nodded.

---time skip---

We arrived at school at exactly 7:00, the time for the flag ceremony.

After the flag ceremony, all students entered to their respective classrooms while the three of us were still on the field.

"We entered separate classroom from now on. I guess, we'll see each other later." Darren said while staring at the school building.

"Yeah, but I still can't accept that we entered separate classrooms in our last year here now." Terence said, sighing.

"But we can still eat lunch together and stroll everywhere when classes ended, right? And then, we always go home together, too, so it's fine for me." I said with a soft smile, trying to lighten up the mood.

"Nerissa." Terence spoke.

"Hm?" I asked and looked at him.

"Take care, okay?" He reminded then patted my head. He seems worried again.

"Of course, I will.. I'm not a little kid anymore, you know." I muttered.

"I know, that's why I'm more worried." Terence whispered. What did he meant by that?

He removed his hand on my head then walked away, "I'm going to my class now." He said.

"Me too, see you later then, Neri." Darren said then walked away, too.

After a few seconds, I headed to my assigned room then the class began.

I felt sad because they're always at my side since then until last year, but now... I can never spend time with them always, we're in separate rooms now, I can't sit beside them anymore, I will never see them arguing over something and I can't talk to them regularly from now on.
