I woke up to a knock at my bedroom door. My head shot up and I began to rub the sleep out of my eyes. "Come in." I said, my sleepiness apparent through my voice. Hailey poked her head in, and I squinted my eyes to adjust my blurry vision.

"Why are you still sleeping? I mean, I'm sorry for waking you but it's.." she paused for a moment, checking the time on her phone. "almost 4:30 in the afternoon." She scoffed. My eyes widened. "Damn." I mumbled under my breath. I checked my phone to make sure it was actually the time she said it was. I sighed. Hailey really reminds me of my mom sometimes, and she's not much older than me.

"Your sleep schedule is so fucked up. You're basically nocturnal..." Hailey said, shaking her head. I saw a faint smile peeking through her glossy lips. "Anyways, I came in here to tell you I'm actually going on a date." She added. That explains why she actually did herself up for the first time in weeks.

"Really? Hailey that's great!" I said. Hailey isn't ugly, but she refuses almost all male attention. She immediately shuts down most guys that hit on her, so my shocked expression was 100% real. "What's his name? Is he nice? Is he rich? Does he treat you good?" I had a million questions. I wanted to know the guy that finally changed her mind on getting in a relationship. I was completely awake at this time, and sat up on my bed.

"Woah woah woah. His name is Tanner. He's a really nice guy and he actually streams and does YouTube, just like you Y/n!" She said, a huge smile plastered from ear to ear. Seeing her happy just warmed my heart.

"If he breaks your heart I'm getting him cancelled." I joked, and Hailey laughed. "I'm actually really happy for you! If he made you change your mind on dating after all these years he must really be a good guy. You look so pretty, Hailey. Go have fun on your date."

We waved goodbye to each other and I stretched after she closed the door. I enjoyed the feeling as I relaxed all my limbs and picked up my phone to check my notifications.

I saw that Blake texted me at 12pm. That's really early, considering how late we were on call until. I would check what other texts/notifications I got, but I was most interested in what the cute brunette boy said.

Blake: Goodmorningggg sorry again for keeping you up so late -12:09pm

Blake: You're probably still asleep but I wanted to know if you wanted to be in one of my videos on my other channel?? basically we would just be reacting to idiots in cars lol i'm planning on filming it some time tonight if you're interested -1:53pm

I immediately started thinking of a response. Of course I wanted to be in one of his videos, but how should I word it.. I felt like every word blanked from my mind the second I needed to respond to a text.

I texted back, 'for sure!!! seems like fun:) lmk when u want to record!' I read it over a million, maybe a billion, times before I sent it. I'm not sure why I was so excited. Maybe I was just happy he texted me first, and asked me out of all people to make a video with him.

I hopped up out of my bed and headed to the bathroom to shower, grabbing a towel on the way. I turned on my shower playlist and made sure to use all my favorite scented soaps. Not only did I want to look good, I wanted to feel good too. Smelling nice always boosts my confidence, and I needed to be as confident as I could while recording.

I needed to make sure his fans approved of me, just in case we started dating.

Woah, I need to stop looking so far ahead into the future. We are just friends, Y/n. Just. Friends. We have only spoken a few times, sadly.

I got out the shower and put on fresh clothes and rubbed my favorite perfume oil on my neck and wrists. Since I was home alone, I blasted my favorite songs as I brushed my hair and put on a little makeup. You would've thought I was going on a date if you saw how much effort I was putting into a silly video. I bet he isn't going to put in a quarter of the effort on his appearance. It's fine, he looks good without trying anyways.

I sang along and messed with my hair and striking poses in the mirror. By the time I was all done, it was around 5:20 pm. Since Blake said he wanted to film 'some time tonight' I figured I had some time to take a small trip on my motorcycle and get some food and run some errands before Hailey got home and I had to record. I could probably get a stream out of my trip too.

I started up my motorcycle and got the stream running as I slipped my helmet on. I waited for a few minutes to give people time to join before I started driving. "Just so you guys know, this will probably be a short stream. I just needed something to do before my plans tonight." I didn't want to spoil the video, even though it was nothing major.

I was just talking to chat for a little until I left my neighborhood. They were all questioning my plans, since I was very vague.

"I'm thinking of just grabbing something to eat and watching the sunset." I said, and I pulled up the gps on my phone. "Chipotle sounds pretty good." I navigated to Chipotle and ordered a rice bowl with all my favorite add-ins.

After I got the food I drove over to a park and sat on a picnic table as I ate. I propped up my camera so they could see me as I read chat on my phone. Just as I took a big ass bite of my food, Blake texted me.

Blake: do you think you could be ready to record in like an hour?? We could do later if you want -6:12pm

I smiled before I even read the message. Just seeing his name pop up makes me happy.

There's no way I already have a crush on him. I'm a grown woman, but my feelings for him make me feel like a child again.

I saw chat was all wondering what I was smiling so hard at. "I just got a text, one second chat." I said. I texted him back, my fingers feeling like butter. 'yeah i can be ready by then , see you in an hour!!☺️'

I cleared my throat and quickly finished the rest of my bowl, throwing it away in a nearby trash can. I needed to make sure my pc was all set up before I started recording, so I wanted to get home a little early.

After I pulled in to my neighborhood, I said goodbye to chat and ended the stream. I parked my motorcycle in my driveway. I saw Hailey's car, so she must be home. I checked the time on my phone while walking into the door, locking it behind me. I had about 30 minutes.

Just as I was about to walk up the stairs, Hailey appeared out of nowhere, almost giving me a heart attack. "Holy fuck, Hailey. You scared the shit out of me." I said, scoffing.

"Whoops haha, my bad! I didn't mean to scare you." She laughed. "I'm guessing your date went well, you're awfully cheery." I said, walking up the stairs with Hailey following suit.

"It really did! Tanner bought me flowers, really nice ones too, and a lot of them. He was so nice to the waitress, which in my opinion, is a huge green flag. He also insisted I ordered really nice food and drinks, and payed for all of it!" She said gleefully.

"Damn, didn't you say he did YouTube? He must have a lot of subscribers if he has money like that. Did he tell you his channel name?" I asked. I was actually really curious, maybe I've seen some of his videos. Based off what Hailey is telling me, he seems like he must be really successful.

"Well.. no. I didn't ask." She said under her breath. "That's a shame. Well, I have to go record a video with my friend. Don't bother me tonight and I promise you can tell me all about Tanner tomorrow." I said, walking into my room.

"What friend?" Hailey asked, raising one eyebrow. All the people I usually record with is not only my friend, but Hailey's too, so it's understandable why she was confused that I just said 'my friend.'

"You remember that guy from the Wendy's?" I smiled. Her eyes widened. "You guys actually talk?" She said, and I nodded. "Yeah, we have. That's why I stayed up so late last night."

She smiled and shook her head. "I bet you 10 dollars you wont ask him out on a date."

I chuckled. "Consider it done."

My phone dinged.

Blake: Ready? -7:08pm
