It wasn't the weekend yet but my mother has been calling me nonstop. She asked me to accompany Prim to shopping. My mother and my step dad weren't aware that the two of us were ex couples. If they knew about this, my mom wouldn't bother asking me to look after her new daughter.
"Gem, we wanna go bowling. You want to join us." Perth said when we walked out from the classroom.
"It's fine. I have something to do. Sorry guys.." I informed them.
I got into my car before I texted my mom that I will pick Prim now. It seems like she was expecting my text that I got a reply a second after my text.
"Mae will tell Prim to get ready."
I started the engine and drove to my house which is 1 hour from the university. After an hour, I finally arrived but I decided to stay in my car. I went to play mobile games when Prim entered the car.

"Thanks Gem for accompanying me." She said and I nodded.
"What are you looking for?" I asked her without looking at her face.
"Ouhh I want to get some things for my art. It was boring to stay home without doing anything." She responded.
"Gem, did I make you uncomfortable? I'm sorry. I didn't mean to disturb you but all of my friends were still overseas." She said.
"It's not. But you should know what is better. We are ex partner, Prim. It's not good for us to be seen together." I said to her.
"You don't want people to see us?" She asked.
"I don't people to thing wrongly about us." I said.
"I can explain that we didn't have anything. " Prim said.
"I kept your words." I said and finally we arrived at the shopping mall. I planned to stay in my car at first but I remembered that she wasn't good at direction so I followed her to the shop.
Prim was searching for her art tools while I stayed at the novel place. I suddenly remembered that Fourth love to read book so I planned to buy the novel for him.
"You read book now,Gem?" She asked.
"No.." I said.
"Then, why you're here?" She asked.
"Someone love to read them during free time so I planned to buy the novels for him." I responded while reading the synopsis of the novel.
"It seems like he was important." She stated.
I stopped reading and looked at her. I could see her expression and it clearly told me that she was jealous.
"He is. He has been spreading positivity to me." I said while ignoring her feeling. As I found the suitable novel for Fourth,I walked to the counter to pay for them. Prim paid for her art tools using her own money.
As we were walking to the car,Prim held my hand to stop me. She told me that she wanted to buy the ice cream. I let her bought her ice cream while carrying her stuffs.
She smiled happily when she walked to me with ice cream in her hands.
"Let's go now." I said.
"Are we going home now? It's still early." She said.
"If you want to stay longer,you can take a cab." I told her before I left her. Prim followed behind me as soon as I said that.
While in the car, I play the music loudly so I can hear her voice. It's not her fault for our break up but I don't know why I can't tolerate with her. It seems like she was hoping for something that we both know that it will not happen.
"Thanks na Gem. Won't you go inside and see Mae. Mae will be very happy to see you." She said when we arrived.
"I will meet her later." I said. Prim seems to get the clue that I didn't want to spend time with her so she got out from the car.
