FOURTH POV
Since that day, I have been avoiding meeting Gemini. I know that this will not change anything but I don't want to die early.
Today I have training for a friendly match with Thammasat University. Both phi Perth and phi Ohm were also here as they were the ones who would train us.
They were asking us to warm up first when Phi Perth approached me.
"Why did you avoid Gem?" He asked. I was surprised when I heard his question.
"I didn't.." I responded.
"Gem has become very sad that you avoided him. What did he do to make you upset?" He asked.
"He didn't do anything. I didn't want to die early." I accidentally told the truth.
"Why would you die early if you met Gemini?" He can't be bothered to ask Fourth
"It was nothing,phi.." I said as I excused myself to leave. However it was too late that phi Perth took my wrist and tightened it.
"Tell me.." he instructed.
"The thing is he confessed to me. It was too sudden. I'm not even sure whether he was saying the truth or not. I'm scared if it was only a lie." I responded.
Phi Perth seems surprised to hear that.
"I have a reason to think that way. I was accompanying Pahn to buy things for her project. Then, I saw him with Prim. She was too pretty and they looked very suitable with each other. The fact that he confessed after going out with Prim led me to think that he just wanted to use me to avoid Prim. I can't help myself from thinking that way,phi." I told him what I truly felt.
"So that's why you avoided Gem?" Now it was Phi Ohm who asked. I nodded and pouted.
"But Gem is sincere about his feelings for you. I can see it. He is treating you different from others." Phi Perth said.
"I know. I'm aware of it. That's why I'm scared." I told them
"It's fine. Take your time. We will not tell Gem about this. We will not interfere in your love life too." phi Perth said
"You can go now." It was Phi Ohm who instructed me to join the training.
After the training, everyone were getting ready to leave including me. It was when phi Perth patted me and pointed me somewhere. It was when I saw Gemini who was sleeping on the bench.
I know that I can't avoid him forever so I walked to him and sat beside him silently. I was waiting for him until he woke up. After a while, he finally awake.
"Tired?" I asked him when our eyes met.
"Hurmm..did the others already left?" He asked when he saw no one left beside us. I nodded.
"Why didn't you woke me up? It was already late. Your mom will get angry" He said.
There was no hint that he was angry. I have been avoiding him for two weeks already so he didn't know that my grandma was already left.
"I already went back to my condo." I told him.
"Huh? Since when?" He questioned me with his big eyes.
"A week ago. I'm sorry. I'm not ready to meet you after the confession. I'm still unsure about your real feelings for me." I told him. Then, I saw his sad expression.
"Do you want to have dinner together?" I asked him and waited for his response. He nodded and I brought him to my room.
"I missed your cooking." He said when he tasted my food.
"I know " I replied
"Fourth, I..." He was going to talk when I cut his words.
" I love you too,Gem." I said and waited for his response.
"I'm sorry for avoiding you. I shouldn't do that when I'm aware about my feelings but I'm scared,Gem. I'm really scared of you were not being honest with yourself. You confessed to me after encounter with your ex. How could I know whether you're telling me the truth or not." I added.
"But I have decided to trust you. Be my boyfriend,Gem." I said my final words.
