Aace's POV:

Upon waking up, I realized my head was pounding. Confused and disoriented, I noticed I was in different pajamas and my clothes were missing. Frantically searching for my belongings, I called out for them. I rushed downstairs to find P'Seb lounging on the couch, casually drinking beer and watching TV.

"I... um... P..Seb," I stuttered nervously. "Hey there, how are you?" He greeted me with a smile. "I'm... okay... where's Avis?" I inquired. "She went with your sister to grab some food. I didn't want to disturb your rest, that's why I didn't wake you up," he explained, still smiling.

"It's fine. Did you change my clothes?" I questioned. "Yes, you were sweating a lot, so I had to," he replied. "Did you... see..." I hesitated. "No, sweetheart. I only wiped away your sweat and made sure you were warm by layering your clothes. I didn't remove anything," he reassured me.

"Thank you," I said, standing up and bowing slightly. "No need to be so formal, you're welcome," he chuckled, guiding me back to my seat. "Don't you have work today?" I asked. "I do, but not for another two hours. I'm just enjoying this beer and watching the football game," he replied, flashing a smile.

While watching the game with P'Seb, a sudden realization dawned on me. I remembered attempting to kiss him last night. "P'SEB!!!" I exclaimed, causing him to look shocked and concerned. "What's wrong? What happened?" he asked anxiously. "LAST NIGHT...!!!" I started, my mouth hanging open. "Last night??" he repeated, sounding scared. "W-We...!!" I began to explain.

After a moment of confusion, he burst out laughing. "Oh, I see now. About last night," he chuckled. "Don't worry, we didn't do anything. I wouldn't take advantage of you like that, I don't like kids." he reassured me. "But I'm almost 30! Stop treating me like a child," I protested. "You may be almost 30, but you still act like a kid and whine like a baby, that's why people treat you that way," he teased.

"It's cute. Keep it up," he laughed. "I'm going to go shower now. You can watch TV while you wait for Avis and your sister," he said, handing me the remote before leaving.

I can't explain it, but there's something about him that draws me in. He's attractive and kind, but also incredibly tall and muscular. I estimate he's around 6'5 or 6'6, towering over my 5'11 frame. I can't deny that I'm intrigued by his physique, even though it feels wrong to admit. If you were in my shoes, you'd feel the same way.

After a brief moment, P'Seb descended the stairs, immediately drawing my gaze.

"Hey Aace. They haven't arrived yet?" P'Seb inquired, adjusting his tight polo. "I think your polo is a bit snug. Maybe you should unbutton the top three buttons," I suggested. "Yeah, it is tight. But it wouldn't be professional to be half-naked in my office, darling. I'll go change," he chuckled, heading back to his office.

Honestly, I wouldn't mind seeing him shirtless. Just his pants on. Damn, he's attractive.

...

P'Seb muttered in frustration as he left his office. "What's wrong, phi?" I inquired. "Nothing, just my back is killing me. Probably from overdoing it at the gym yesterday," he groaned. "Plus, my laundry isn't done and my shirt is too tight. I'll just stay here and work," he decided.

"I can help with that," I offered with a smile. "I'll take care of your laundry, phi." "No thank you, sweetheart, I've got it," he replied, heading to the kitchen. "So... phi," I began, following him. "Yes, baby?" he responded, taking a sip of water. "Avis mentioned that you're divorced," I mentioned, fiddling with my nails.

"Oh, that girl," he chuckled softly. "Yes, I am divorced," he confirmed with a smile. "Why do you ask?" he questioned, placing his dish in the sink. "Is she pretty?" I inquired. "I wouldn't say she's not," he chuckled. "No, I'm just kidding. She's the most beautiful person I've ever seen," he admitted with a smile.
