Blake's POV

The place is beautiful, I can't believe this is where I'm gonna be living from now on. Well that is until we get the divorce.

I don't know why, but just thinking about the divorce leaves a bitter taste to mouth and an ache in my heart. And now I'm in a sour mood.

Dinner was amazing, we had a wonderful conversation.

We shared things about eachother, who knew Gustavo was sweet and kind, those magazines and news were just exaggerating about him. But in my defense he didn't really make a good impression, he was always looking angry and had a permanent frown on his face, so seeing him smile was a warm feeling.

His favourite colour is purple, which is weird for men like him. seeing as most of them love black or red. *Tsk* Masculinity. But I liked it, purple would look good on him, maybe if we don't get a divorce so soon, I can maybe get to see wearing something purple someday.

He told me about how wanted to be a chef but his dad convinced him to study Business so he could take over the family business. And that cooking wasn't for everyone, he said his father pursued him to choose running a business over cooking for people.

He loves cooking and baking, 'it calms him' he said, he even had a smile on his face when I saw him plating our food.

You should have seen his smile when i complimented his food. Apparently he had a cook book, he wrote his recipes. He said he was going to show me someday.

.....someday. If we don't get the divorce that is.

Flashback

"When I was younger I would always be in the kitchen with our maid lola, she was a beautiful woman, inside and out, she treated me like her son, she wasn't fortunate enough to have other kids, so she took me as hers, trained me alongside her son, and I'm grateful to her, she taught us how to cook, bake, make our beds, laundry and many other things, she was a wonderful woman" he finished, I noticed a smile on his face and his watery eyes caught my attention too. Making me reach for his hand, rubbing it slowly showing him I was listening to him and he could let it out.

"So where is she, I didn't see her at the wedding" I asked, a sad smile also evident on my face.

"She died" he chuckled, a sad one, one that is often let out by a hurt person, and that made my heart squeeze.

"I'm so sorry for your loss, I'm sure she's in a better place now" I said, still rubbing his hand in a sympathetic way.

"Thank you" he said giving me a smile.

"And her son?" I asked, scared for the answer.

"Diego's in Mexico with his father, he had to visit the old man, hence why he couldn't attend. But he will be coming back soon, he's a lawyer, so he's obviously not going to miss work for a little vacation. A fucking workaholic" he laughed at the end making me smile. He's really a good person. I don't get why Bria could do this to him. All she had to do was reject the proposal instead of accepting and then embarrassing our families and him on the day of the wedding.

"I'm sorry for my sister's departure and her almost basically embarrassing your family....and mine too" I don't know why I was apologising but I felt like it was the best thing to do. Since she wasn't here to do it, I figured why not do it. I mean what she did was rude and stupid.

"It's not your fault, and I can't force her into a marriage she doesn't want to be a part of" he shrug smiling at me. I've grown to like his smile in these few hours of being close.

"But.." I was about to talk

"I didn't force you, you could have easily rejected the wedding, I only wanted to go further with the marriage because of Lola"
