When it's evening my parents come home from shopping and me and my siblings start doing out homework while both my parents make diner. After finishing homework, we go to eat dinner in the dinning room.
The atmosphere is the same on our dinner table as always. With my parents talking about various things, Ian makes faces at Sofia while eating and his laughter and her screams. And my three sisters keep chatting about the lastest anime they've been watching. They are always talking with each other like that. But I eat silently lost in my novel.

After dinner we all go to bed. Well everyone in the house is sleeping but I am wide awake, while I lie on my bed beside Ruby in a dark room with my phone in my hands. I mean it's 11:00 pm who sleeps so early. Besides it's mine and Laila's chatting time. So I open Instagram and go to our chat box.
"Hi!" I type and then scroll through a few reels with ear phones on my ears. When she replies back.
"Hey!" She replies and I roll my eyes at her short text.
"You wanted to tell me something." I remind her. And it takes her forever to type back since the three small white dots keep moving.
"Yeah so about the trip." She is typing more.
"Go ahead." I type back anyway.
"You know it's going to be on Monday morning."
"Hmm."
"So the boys asked for a meeting on Saturday morning at 10:00 am for getting everyone ready."
"Really?" I ask her because I am feeling nervous again because I am not an extrovert like here and I hate socializing not that I am good at it either.
"Yes! At the Heart Lake Cafe."
"But how will I go there?" I asks her. "Not that I am going on the trip anyway."
"Yes you are going to both of these things and don't worry I will take care of them."
"But what about parents?" I ask her frustrated at my phone's screen as I type back aggressively.
"I will come to pick you up in the morning and will talk to them after I drop you back home." She types back.
"I have a bad feeling about this." I type back in worry,my heartbeat picking up.
"Shh don't let negative thoughts run in your mind and relax. I will take care of everything." She types back with a heart emoji. "I love you!"
"I love you too!" I type back with two pink hearts as I smile at my screen while a warm feeling takes over my heart.
I feel so happy for having such a caring and loving friend. She means the world to me. I don't know what I would do without her. And after our chat we both go back to scrolling reels on Instagram and at 01:00 am I go to sleep.

When we all wake up at 08:00 am in the morning the breakfast is already made and my father is not home. Because since our summer vacations have started he has changed his work from night shift to morning shift.
So he will go to work at 06:00 am in the morning and come home at 07:00 pm in the evening. It's very great since only my mother will be home for Laila to convince her to take me away. Because my mother never says no to even her enemies when they ask for something.
We eat breakfast and than my siblings watch the TV and play in the living room while I go wash the dishes and than take a bath and pick clothes to wear. Its already 09:15 am when I come out of my bath.
Thankfully nobody is in my room as I wear a pink frock and white leggings. I braid my dry hair since I didn't wash it. And start to put light lipstick on my lips and wear small earrings. That's enough getting ready for me.
I go down at 09:30 am and find my mother in the living room using her phone. While my siblings watch an anime on the TV.
"Mom!" I grab my mother's attention as I step inside the room to tell her about Laila's arrival. But just as her eyes land on me the doorbell rings and I flince visibly.
"What are you ready for?" She asks me with a stern voice as she goes to check the door. I release a breath I didn't knew that I was holding because thankfully Laila is here to take me away and answer her question.
"Hi Auntie!" I hear Laila's voice from the door. " How are you?"
"Oh my god Laila!" My mother's exclaims in surprise but I can feel the smile on her face as I keep standing in the living room. I am glad my mother likes Laila so much but it still hurts to find her loving a stranger so much than her own daughter.
All my siblings perk up when they hear my bff's name and Sofia runs to the door instantly.
"I am fine. Come in! Come in! But what a pleasant surprise what are you doing here?" I roll my eyes at my mother's question because obviously she came here to see me. "Shall I bring you something to drink? Tea?" She asks her as they both step into the living room and Laila's eyes fall on me.
"No it's alright." She says as he walks towards me and engulfs me into a hug." Hi! How are you?" She asks my cheerfully as we let go.
"Fine." I manage to say before Sofia comes squealing to Laila and hugs her legs.
"Laila is here!" She says in her adorable voice I wish she talked to me with.
"Awe Sofia your so cute!" Laila exclaims as she bends down and gives her a kiss on her cheeks. I roll my eyes at them but I can't believe I am jealous.
As I switch of the TV and Kick everyone out. Laila and I sit on one couch with Sofia between us and my mother sits on a couch besides Laila's. I inhale a breath and pray to God for my mother to agree for letting me out of the house.
