Bandit Like Me

What to expect now?
I'm trying to find my writing style and general genre, and I'm very much still trying to figure it all out lmaooo but as for now I don't want to limit myself to one thing. So what does that mean?: you can expect a lot of different kind of books in the future! I contemplated on making new accounts so I could keep the dark romance, soft romance and fantasy books separated, but eventually decided to just post everything on here, because it seemed like a lot of chaos to make all those different accounts hahah
As for now, my brain decided that it'd be a great idea to just go ahead and write three books at the same time so these are the three projects I'm working on rn:

- A FANTASY-ROMANCE BOOK - KINGDOM OF THE NIGHT -
I have wanted to successfully write a fantasy book for soooooo long omfg,, when I started writing at sixteen I was like: let's immediately attempt to write a complex high fantasy novel im sure that will work out perfectly fine!! surprise, surprise: it did not lmaooo
anyways writing this story is honestly so fulfilling. I can't believe I'm able to write something I wasn't able to write four years ago and that honestly really makes me happy:))
but back to what matters hahah the book: this one's probably going to be released first. it's written in first person but past sense and only one pov. It's a - and don't get thrown off by this, it makes sense in context pinky promise!! - slow burn poly fantasy romance. There's not a lot of smut because.. well slow burn and all that BUT there's lots of mystery, world building, interesting character backstories, romantic tension, banter, meaningful character development & multiple different love languages (that's the upside of having more than one love interest ig hahah)
I reallyyy hope to see you back at this story! I don't want to give too much away yet but if you like quest centered fantasies, morally grey characters, mythical beings, funny banter, strong female protagonists and fun world building then I promise you'll like this!:)

- ROMANCE BOOK - AFTER SUMMER -
This book will be written in third person, like my state of grace story. It's an on-campus love story with lots of sweet moments, in depth character arcs, genuine friendships and also a little bit of mystery:)) (oh, and of course romance)
It doesn't really rely on any tropes tbh except maybe sunshine x grump, amnesia & opposites attract
This book is romance, but it isn't going to be anything like Bandit Like Me except of course my way of writing is still mostly the same. It'd be a lot sweeter, less dark in terms of violence and the characters are younger.

- DARK ROMANCE BOOK - LIAR LIKE ME -
Bandit Like Me was supposed to be the start of a book duolidgy consisting of two interconnected books (so with 2 different main couples/storylines but in the same universe) however, as you may have noticed the writing of this book doesn't really align with my current vision anymore. I LOVE this story - like you have no idea how much writing these characters, plot lines and arcs has helped me during a very dark time in my life, but now that I have a clearer head I would love to put a bit more structure in the book before continuing writing the duolidgy. So, I'm planning on either rewriting this one after finishing the two projects mentioned above or just continue the series with the second book.
As of right now, I'm already a couple chapters into writing Liar Like Me, but I think the other projects will be finished first.
Anyways Liar Like Me is going to be about Maxim (the hacker guy mentioned in a few chapters) and I'm very excited about it! So hopefully I manage to finish it somewhere next year:))

When can you expect these books to be posted?
I genuinely have no idea and I'm not going to set a deadline cause that would burn my motivation all the way to the ground lmao. I'm gonna be very busy with my internship when school starts again (seriously help me) & that makes it hard to find time for writing.
I do expect Kingdom of the Night to be finished this year, as for the other two: I really don't know.
