Luffy x Reader

CH 1

(Reminder: A quick continuation to this story that I made a long while ago.)

I was shopping at a small convenience store, different from the one I used to shop at. After the minor shooting incident last year, they decided to shut the store down only because of their lack of security. Sucks to suck I guess. Supposedly, from what I heard, the store owner just simply couldn't afford to lose any more customers which was saddening cause it was the only store I could actually reach— without having to run anyway. Luckily I found out about this small convenience store that hid near the central mall.

I was looking for snacks for tomorrow night, like Lays, Hot Cheetos, Reese's, Twix, Popcorn, and such. Haha, prolly wondering what's so important about tomorrow night am I right? Well, me and the gang are having an entire week to ourselves where we hang out alllll day, even at night until we pass out. We plan on playing and watching movies all night and probably going out during the day since what the hell are we gonna do at my place?

Of course, that's not all, the station has decided to give us a break due to the situation and another recent situation that ended up giving me, Luffy, Sabo, and Ace a promotion. I and Luffy have been trying and have been doing good with trying to become detectives although Luffy does get a bit off track by a lot of stuff. Not really surprising though at least he's trying. But I know the guy, he's got some knowledge he can put to good use. Anyways— besides all that, that's why we all decided that since it's gonna be Friday tomorrow, we'd go crazy for the next few days, doing all-nighters and such.

Tonight we're going to have a small party but tomorrow morning we're gonna have to wake up early. Why? Well you'll know in a bit so sit tight cause you're in for a hell of a ride.

I threw another bag of chips into my grocery bag. Currently, half of the gang is looking for at least 3 or 4 movies, while the other half is looking for 2 or 3 games to play with story modes. But, for the girls, such as Robin and Nami, they've either gone out to find clothes or find what activities we can do. And I'm over here with Luffy.

"Oi, (Y/N), do you think they'll like any lemon-flavored Lays? I was wondering whether we should get that or these spicy chips I stumbled upon earlier," Luffy said as he popped his head out to my aisle since he was next to mine. Luffy liked to hog me compared to the others, whenever they'd try to plan something– well Luffy would have likely already had some plans in store.

"Why not just get both?" I said before shrugging a lil as I looked at him, making him grin. His smiles were always infectious, being cutesy.

"You are smart!" He claimed while quickly disappearing to get the other chips as well.

"Just being reasonable, Luffy." I said while I chuckled a bit, rolling my eyes. "Still, you're smart," He mentioned again as he came up from behind me putting the chips in the grocery bag.

I jumped, Jesus, he scared me. Decided to come from the other side of the aisle eh? You sly dog. He gave me a quick kiss on my cheek. It made my tail wag cause oh my god he is too sweet.

"You're adorable," He mumbled while giving me a look. He noticed my tail before he walked away to look for other snacks, he left with a smirk on his face.

I was left pretty red you could say.

I mean you would be too, right?

I certainly am.

It's lowkey pathetic yeah sure but hey I can't help it alright? So get off my back.

Anyways, after the incident that happened with me and him, he's just been so touchy.
