I woke up at 7am feeling a little bit too excited. Today will be my first day going on work experience at the hospital, ever since i was 13 my dream was to become a nurse or doctor but growing up i finally decided what i was really interested in which was taking care of people which is why i want to become a nurse.A message popped up across my screen, it was the nurse that they assigned to supervise me at the hospital.

Sabrina Good morning ms. Oji, my name is Sabrina and I was assigned to supervise and assist you during your time on work experience here. As of today you should arrive at the hospital at 10:30 am and you get off at 5:30 pm. I look forward to seeing you.
Me: Noted.
After closing her chat i replied to a message from my man who was telling me good morning and asking if i was okay. Yes you heard that right tayo and i are officially in a relationship, we made the decision to be in a relationship because we clearly make each other happy and are both mentally and sexually attached to each other, anyways. I closed iMessage and put my phone face down on my bed. As I was about to get out of bed I heard my phone ring. I picked it up to find out that it was my dad calling. Shit! I just realized that I never called him after i arrived at the airport. As I answered the call I was about to speak first but he beat me to it. "Suh you do your ting? Not even call you nuh call u father ariyah?" He stated. "Daddy hush, mi honestly didn't remember. Ya forget seh me basically move up here so mi affi deal wid tings." I answered. "A joke man mi daughter mi know uh busy." He said while chuckling and i chuckled also. "But differently tho me and yuh need fi talk bou some serious tings" he said seriously. "Okay dad, I'll call you later when I get from the hospital" I told him. "Wah? Weh yaw guh hospital fah, yuh hurt?" He asked. "No daddy, I'm going on work experience there" I said chuckling. "Ooh suh nuh dat yuh fi seh my gurl, anyways call me wen yuh get home zeen?" He said. "Yes daddy, love you" I said and hung up the phone
It was now 8:40 and I decided to get out of bed. I took my nurse scrubs/attire and layed it out on my bed along with packing my Louis Vuitton bag with stuff I'm going to need for the day as in my MacBook, academic calendar, notebooks and a stethoscope. After doing so i went over to my bathroom to do my skincare routine. I then made my way downstairs so I could greet my mother and prepare something to eat. After checking on my mom to see if she was okay i went into the kitchen and made a bowl of cereal for my breakfast.
As i was about to leave out i hurriedly took my salad and coconut water out the fridge that i was going to have for lunch and finally i took a picture and sent it to tayo informing him that I'd be going now.
