Im unboxing my new bought books when suddenly a two knocks disturb me.
"Come in! Bukas yan." I said while sorting out my books after I unboxed it. Mahilig ako magbasa. That's why marami na akong naimbak na libro.
"New books na naman bunso?" Bungad ni kuya Sean sa akin, sabay upo sa may kama ko. He is my 3rd brother. Ahead sya akin ng dalawang taon. We are like the yin and yang. Opposite but can't live without each other. Lagi nya akong inaasar, pero lagi rin nya akong iniispoil.
"Yup" I replied popping with the letter p. "Do you need anything kuya?"
"Ahh right! Nasa baba si Ricky boy. Hinahanap ka!" Ohh shoot! May usapan nga pala kami na pupunta sya dito.
" Ah sige kuya. I'll go downstairs after I'm done here." I walk to my shelves and put all my sorted books there.
"Selena do you still like Ricky?" I stopped midway after kuya said that. Humarap ako sa kanya and smile at him.
" Kuya I still do. And I think, habang tumatagal lumalalim ang nararamdaman ko sa kanya." I turn my back and continue organizing my books on the shelves.
"Bunso, you might get hurt." Madamdamin nyang sabi sa akin. Naiintindihan ko si kuya. Because Ricky is my best friend and he doesn't know about my feelings for him. Sya lang naman ata ang walang alam sa feelings ko sa kanya. My whole family knows it, even Tita and tito, Ricky's mom and dad.
I sighed. "Kuya I know! What can I do? As if mapipigilan ko ang nararamdaman ko sa kanya." Im done arranging my books at humarap ako sa kanya.
"Dont worry na kuya. At least I'm happy, even though hindi nya alam. Kontento na ako kung ano ang meron kami. Okaay?" Tumango na lang sya at niyakap ako.
"Let's go downstairs na?" I said and we walked outside my room. Going down the stairs, I saw Ricky and Dianna sitting on the sofa, talking with my other two kuyas. Dianna is my other best friend. Ricky has been my best friend since we were children. While Dianna or Anna, we became best friends when we were in 6th grade.
"Hi guys!" I greeted them with a smile.
Ricky saw me and smile at me. That smile, dyan ako nahulog ehhh. Haynako. Anna on the other hand wink at me and waves her hand.
"Hi brothers!" I kissed both of them. That's kuya Samuel or Sam, the 2nd older brother of mine. And the other one is kuya Sebastian or Basty, the oldest among the three. If kuya Sean is my frenemy (it's a slang for a friend and enemy combined), kuya Sam naman is the kind of kuya to me na very malambing and super spoiled ako sa kanya. Every time I asked him a favor, I don't need to plead. He'll give it right away. As long as kaya nya. While kuya Basty. He is strict when it comes to me. But He still spoils me, hindi nya rin ako matiis. Because I guess I'm their only sister.
"You three, what your plans?" - Kuya basty ask. Ricky scratched her temple and look at me.
"Kuya Basty, were just gonna hang out there sa garden. Together with kuya Sean." Oh yeah, I forgot to mention that kuya Sean and Ricky is classmate.
"Is that so? Okay you can go and play kids!" Pang aasar ni kuya Basty. Kuya Sam laughed and bid his goodbye to us, aakyat ata sa kwarto nya.
"Yes Daddy!" Pang aalaska naman ni kuya Sean sa kanya.
"Lets go na nga guys" Anna grab my hand and we walk to the garden. Sumunod naman yung dalawa sa amin.
Nakarating kami sa garden. We sat altogether and talk like theres no tomorrow. Pumasok si Kuya at Anna para kumuha ng meryenda. While me and Ricky, we remain in our sit.
"Selena, how are you? Di ka na pumupunta sa bahay, tinatanong ka na nila mommy." I guess he missed me. Oh my Ricardo!
"Sorry Ricks ah. I got busy lately eh. Alam mo naman malapit na ang final exams natin. And also closing ng school year."
"Well, busy naman lahat. Kahit nga ako busy kasi graduating kami ng kuya Sean mo." "Anyways, is Michael courting you?"
"Michael? As in yung Michael Rivas? Yung Varsity player, yung matalino na mayaman sa engineering ? Of course, not! Nakikipagkaibigan lang yun, kasi we are block mates sa isang minor subject. Why do you ask?"
"Well, I heard rumors na he is courting you. Thats why I asked you.
Anyways, sabay tayo bukas pumasok. Sunduin kita?" He changed the topic. I sighed! And then kuya Sean and Anna appeared with our meryendas.
"Guys here our meyenda!" - Anna
" Okay. Pick me up at 7 tomorrow morning." I said to him while eating the sandwich.
After the eating session we bid goodbye's. I go to my room and do my night routine. After that I jump in my bed, I lay down facing up in the ceiling. Haayy! Kailan kaya ako magkakaroon ng lakas ng loob na sabihin sa kanya ang nararamdaman ko? What a long day! I closed my eyes until I fell into the darkness.
