Last week was chaotic. I hope this week is better.
We were in the dressing room stretching.
But Chloe wasn't here.
"I don't want to dance without Chloe I don't have my twin power" Paige says.
We all laugh.
"Come on ladies, let's go. Let's go" Abby says.
We all line up.
"All right. Last week you walked in here and you were losers. Fourth place. Today you're winners. You walk in here like, woo, we won. And that's all fine and dandy. But uh let's be realistic you won by 10th of a point. I don't want the ugly dance company to just be 1/10 of a point ahead of who you beat. I don't want it. I want you to be 30 points ahead, or 20 points ahead, 10 points, or for goodness sake, one whole point. Can we be one whole point above the next group?" Abby says.
"Abby, do you know where Christi and Chloe are?" Kelly asks.
"I'm dealing with them" Abby says.
" I'm going to do something a little different today and I'm going to start at the top" Abby says.
"Finally, for the first time ever Kendall it is at the top of the pyramid"
We all clap for Kendall.
" you're on top of the pyramid" Abby says to Kendall.
"Hallelujah" Jill says.
"Kendall, you beat a lot of great people. One of them was Chloe" Abby says.
"Jill, I think you just made an enemy. I don't think Christi can handle your nine-year-old beating her 11 year old who is national titleholder right now. I think you need to watch out" Abby says.
"Next, Maddie, i'm not going to tell you, you were amazing. I don't think you are" Abby says.
"And then moving on. Maci. Again, I'm not gonna sayyou were amazing. But you were pretty good" Abby says.
I smile a little.
"Next, Nia. Nia, you went out your arms were pretty, Start off strong, fizzled"
"Next, I have Paige. Paige, I don't want to go over and over things in class. I want to tell you one time and I want you to do it"
"And next, Mackenzie. Tell me what you did because I heard that you were in the audience watching then I saw you sleeping in the dressing room. You're like deadweight coming along with us. We don't need you there" Abby says.
"Obviously on the bottom of the pyramid is Chloe. Chloe made a mistake. I told you not to drop your hat. She dropped her hat. Chloe is suspended, so is her mother. her behavior was deplorable. I don't want her anywhere near the studio. She was an embarrassment to the Abby Lee Dance Company, and to all of you" Abby says.
