The next morning I get waken up by my ringing alarm and groan at my tiredness. I stand up and do my usual stretches and then my skincare and apply my make up.
After I put my school uniform on, someone knocks knock the door. "Come in, please." I grant entry. It was a housemaid with brown hair put up in a bun and clear blue eyes shining into mine. "Oh hi, what brings you here?" I ask the unknown face. "Our team cleans the house every Saturday, if it's okay for you I'll start in the bathroom."
"No problem, what's your name?" "Mellie." she answers. "Well thank you for your help Mellie.", I thank her. "I really like your name, it's cute." I compliment her too. Her cheeks blush a slight bit, "Thank you.", she shyly smiles and then she enters the bathroom.
I walk around the halls and spot Avery, "Hey Ave!" I greet, but then notice her facial expression, "everything good?" I search for what could be the reason and see cow boy boots at the foot of a bed, through the open door off a room. Libby's room.
My eyebrows shoot up.
that early?
I definitely saw them having a connection in the kitchen but I didn't think it would happen so fast...
I mean Libby just moved on from that terrible guy.
"Oh, Nash and Libby, I see." I catch on. "One of his projects." she drags her hand over her face, as if she has a migraine, but I'm still stuck at her words, his projects?
But Avery doesn't seem to notice my confusion. I try to regain memory from any stuff Celine told me the first morning after the will reading.oh yeah Nash has this little thing where he searches poor souls who need help or something and helps them by giving them a job in the house and-
"Yeah and I think he also dated Alisa."
dated Alisa?! whoah what did i miss?
My eyebrows rise, "Okay, that's something to process." I silently curse Celine for withholding me that gossip and blink a few times to escape the morning tiredness.
My stomach growls, "I'm gonna grab some breakfast, do you wanna come?" I offer, pointing somewhere where the kitchen should be. She shakes her head, "No I already ate, thanks though. See you in the car." We both walk in opposite directions.

On my way to grab breakfast, I catch Celine in the kitchen. She eats her usual oatmeal and fruits, "Morning Cee Cee." I greet while grabbing my coffee and breakfast Croissant. "Good morning Nay."
She turns, so she's facing me, "Oren told me about your little trip yesterday." she cocks an eyebrow. I just shrug and defend myself, "It's not illegal and I didn't get caught." She rolls her eyes, "Yes, but it's not exactly safe for you to dangle of a bridge." She sighs deeply, knowing how to make me feel guilty. "Just because you don't have a race this weekend doesn't mean you can threaten any injuries."
I playfully make my offended face and cling onto my chest as if it would hurt, "Are you saying I would get injured from such a thing." I get up to load my plate with more croissants.
Celine slightly laughs, but shakes her head, "Besides you need to go to an NFL game this and the charity gala next weekend." I cut her off before she can continue.
I get back to the table and with a raised eyebrow I ask, "Gala? Can Ash come? I know he just loves to get dolled up by me."
She chuckles and shakes her head again. "Gosh Nayla you're still a little girl. No he unfortunately can't come. You can still get dolled up though, " she informs me.
