Nayla Black was born as a winner, and she absolutely loved it.

Currently she was winning a Formula 2 race, by an impressive 30 second lead that would hit the news.

Many wondered if she would be the first woman to win the Formula 2 championship.

Many wondered if her No. 1 competitor Nikolas Pagonis would win. But everyone was for one or the other.

Nayla pov

I see the chequered flag waving as I pass the finish line. "That's p1, Nayla! p1! Well done!", Jalen congratulated me through the car radio. "Let's goo!!" I throw my fist in the air. I drive cool down lap and then proudly park my car at the '1st' sign.

I get out of the car and turn to the tanned boy who parked his car at the '3rd' sign, running into his arms I almost tackled him to the ground. "Asher! I told you I'd win!" I grin at him. "Bro, it was raining of course you'll win." he says rolling his eyes playfully.

I turn around to congratulate the others, as I hug my manager/lawyer she whispers something in my ear, "I need to talk to you after the podium celebration, okay? Legal matters." I nod her an okay and walk through my motor home with Asher.

We were, of course, held up by interviewers.

"Nayla, how do you feel about the current standings for the World driver's championship? How does it feel to be head-to-head with Nikolas Pagonis the last few races? Do you think you'll be able to win the championship in Abu Dhabi?" the interviewer bombards me with questions.

"I'm feeling pretty confident especially with this race's results. Of course, I can't look into the future, but I will do whatever it takes to win."

"What do you think about the strange drivers market for the upcoming 2021 Formula 1 season? Do you hope in getting a seat?"

"Yeah, I think it's pretty strange that only Charles Leclerc and Lewis Hamilton have resigned, but I think it's mostly because of the new and promising team, Porsche. And yeah, I do hope o. getting a seat but I haven't gotten any offers, so we'll see how that'll turn out."

"If you had the option of choosing, which F1 team would you be joining?"

"Ohh, that's hard. I mean the obvious answer would be McLaren as I am on of their junior drivers, but I really don't want to destroy the great team dynamics with Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri, so I would say Red Bull or Porsche."

"Any reason why Red Bull or Porsche?"

"No, I don't think so. I mean give me a good car to race and I'm happy." I chuckle.

"You're known for your consecutive win streak in Formula 3 and 4. Do you want to say anything abiut the drastic change in your performance since the beginning of the season? Was there any reason why you came in second place for half the races this season?"

"Um, just that the competition got harder in Formula 2 and I guess I'm not as competitive as I was before."

"Okay, thank you Nayla for this interview. You may make your way to the podium now."

I catch up with Asher, who was practically interrogated about his contact with Mila Amin. As we go to the cool down room we see our friends, rivals on track, in the other motorhome. "Ollie! Kimi!", Asher makes his way to them and makes the mistake of going in front of me. I look to Kimi and Oliver who understand my intentions, they nod grinning. I jog to Asher and kick his foot behind the other making him trip.
