Media day in Jeddah:
Walking into the paddock scanning my pass per usual as I made my way towards hospitality. My least favorite day of the weekend is here, all the unwanted opinions made me want to bang my head against the wall.

Walking inside the garage making a b-line for my drivers room so I can change into my team kit and try to hideout in here for as long as possible. Opening the door as I reached over to switch the light on, walking in and closing the door immediately behind me. Putting my bag on the couch as I reach for the hanger that holds my papaya colored shirt with my number on the back.

Slipping it on over my long sleeve I currently already have on, fixing my hair in the mirror before finally getting comfy on the couch. Not even two seconds go by of me getting comfortable before I hear a knock on the door. Groaning out as I stood back up to open the door slightly to see who is bothering me. Opening the door slowly with the smallest gap to peak at who is bothering me before the day even starts.

My brown eyes peaking out of the door as I see another papaya colored shirt along with curly hair. Chuckling realizing it is Lando before opening the door and dragging him inside by the wrist so no one sees us avoiding media day. Honestly I think every driver hates media day or at least dislikes it to some extent.

Today Lando and I actually had a video to do for McLaren before the conference and drivers parade. The only time I like media days are for challenges we get to do for the team, because that mainly are fun activities and not them grilling you for answers. Especially if your me getting grilled on my love life too.

We both sat on the couch as we didn't even really talk, just mindlessly scrolling through our phones. The only sound being heard was the occasional videos being heard coming from our phones. Getting tired from sitting as I change my position laying my head over Lando's lap as he continues to be on his phone typing away at god knows what.

I felt my self drift for bit, I would say about twenty minutes before both of our PR managers barge in my room looking for us. "We have been looking everyone for you two, we are late to hospitality for the video you guys need to make" they told Lando and I sternly. I was still barely waking up from the small nap I just took, Getting up slowly as Lando rushed me.

Getting to hospitality as they have everything set up for us to film. Lando walking to one side as the couch in the middle as I go to the opposite side of him in the middle. They explained the challenge to us, basically we were finishing the lyrics to songs they have chosen at random. Whoever gets it right gets the point, and the winner gets bragging rights. Honestly I feel like I'll crush Lando at this challenge but he does really love music, he did dj for a while.

They started rolling the cameras as they told us to begin. Lando read the first song out loud Shania Twain "Man! I feel like a Women", laughing a bit at how he pronounced her name but he payed no mind. He starts reading the lyrics, after a few he looks back at me as I giggle out at his very monotone voice as he clearly doesn't recognize the song.
