Old Times; Family.

"Arial. Get your little tush over here. Look Sammie wants to play with you."

I sat on the ground of my new apartment. We just adopted Sammie our teacup yorkie. Arial was now three and a half. It had been a year since I last saw Niall. He has came home for her birthday but then for Christmas took her. He also took her for Easter. However, I had been avoiding him since he went on another tour. Now he we were a year and half later. The tour was over. We still hear nothing from him.

"Mommy. Sammie wants you to make me lunch!"

"Okay SAMMIE. I will make you a sandwich while you clean up your toys. Now go."

I know it sounded crazy but I still never got over Niall. I tried to go on a date and I knew that it would never work. However, I did have things that kept me busy. My new apartment was amazing at keeping my mind off of him. Sammie helped a lot too. My new job was the biggest distraction being an audiologist.

"Arial that better not be the TV. I told you to clean your toys up and- Niall?"

I dropped the glass bowl on the floor making it shattered. Niall stood in the doorway with a suitcase and Arial in his arms.

"Mommy! Daddy is home!"

Niall placed Arial down along with his suitcase. He bent down helping me pick the glass up. Arial bent down next to her dad and tried to pick up the glass.

"Arial no no no. Your going to get her let us do it. Come here did you pick up all of your toys? Get Sammie and bring her in your room."

Arial stuck her tongue out and then ran into her room. I starred at Niall with disbelief. He continued picking up the glass. I sat bent down speechless.

"Take a picture it will last longer."

Niall looked up and smirked. I laughed and shook my head.

"Why are you here? I mean you didn't tell me. I mean your career. Wait what is going on?"

Niall sighed putting the glass in the garbage. He sat down at the table. I slowly approached him sitting across from him.

"Our tour finished. I mean finished for good. Liam and Louis have families, Zayn is engaged and Harrys girl is pregnant. Our band is over. I came to talk to you before anything."

"Niall. I-"

"No Courtney don't speak. I know this is crazy but I love you. I have always loved you and I don't think I will ever stop loving you. You and Arial. That is what I want my number one thing to be from now on. Above the band, above music. Just my family. I have missed too much of both of your lives and I realized that now. I love you. I'm on my way to my parents' house but I need to know. If you want to make things work say it. Now. If not- I'm leaving."

I sat there with my eyes opened wide. My jaw was dropped to the ground. My throat was dry and my lips chapped. My hands started to shake and everything went a blur.

"Alright bye Courtney."

Niall stood up and walked out of the apartment. When Arial came in the room suddenly everything came back to me. Niall left! I grabbed Arial slamming the door running down stairs. I stood in the elevator with Arial on my hop almost in tears.

"Mommy? Where are we going?"

"We are going to find your daddy hon."

The elevator doors opened and I pushed through the crowd. I ran outside to see no one there. After three minutes I gave up. I went back to the elevator. There was a man with his hood up on there that didn't seem too happy but other then that, no one.

"Mommy? Where is daddy?"

I let a tear slip down my face.

"Daddy is with grammy and pops."

"Why doesn't he stay wif us?"

"He uh- isn't too happy with mommy."

"Why not?"

"Because mommy forgot to tell him something important."

"What's that mommy."

I sighed wiping my face. I bent down and put Arial down. I held her hands and kissed her forehead.

"I forgot to tell daddy how much I love him. How much he means to me. It's okay though he will always love you."

"But mommy you can tell him now."

"It's too late princess."

"Why is it too late?"

"Because he is gone."

The elevator opened and I walked Arial out. We got to our door and I stuck the key in. I turned the key and felt a warm hand on my shoulder. I turned and saw the man who was in the elevator. He took his hood down to reveal his face.

"I'm right here. And I'm leaving ever again. I love you."

I leaped into Niall's arms just like old times. It was the warmest feeling ever.

"Just like old times huh?"

Niall laughed smiling at me.

"Mommy! Mommy! Mommy!"

Arial pulled at my leg as I bent down to pick her up.

"One happy family right?"

"Right."
