(2) the spiral of corpses

Being stuck outside was not exactly in y/n's escape plan, but right now that was not her worry at the moment, her biggest concern was figuring out where her dad had went and if her sister was even still in her room.

Walking around as the snow crunches under her feet, she was the only one outside, so the silence was very eerie to her.

Eventually she leads herself to a spiral of corpse. Judging by what race the corpse are, the disassembly drones had used the worker drones they killed to build themselves a base.

It's hard to tell, what they were trying to achieve whether it was trying to protect themselves or whatever might be inside either way it wasn't smart, as they have left a noticeable entrance directly in front.

As y/n walked She began to think about the encounter she had earlier with a disassembly drone, it seems that the drone was trying to get back to the base, which y/n Had now found herself inside of.

Looking around all that was, there was a bunch of other corpses that had probably fallen from the spiral they had made unprofessionally , but aside from that there was also a spaceship looking pod like they traveled here and....

Wow... that makes so much sense...

A body had fallen from the spiral once again, but soon y/n realizes that she was not alone.

She quickly hurries to the pod, but soon the pods door shuts like it knew she was coming or it just had an automated system that helps it to close when any uninvited guests get near it.

Y/n was very good at detecting reasons and causes, but there was no time to be a detective.

Her railgun was still at 80% so she'd need to stall in order to quickly shoot whatever it was that was after her and get away.

Soon a different looking disassembly drone lands riding from the entrance to the spiral. It was another girl drone except it had pigtails which was a funny sight for y/n.

She snaps back to reality as she quickly goes to sit behind a fallen object, she checks her rail gun, it was only 5% away, the drone was closing in on where y/n was.

Y/n began to panic once more, standing up and turning to face the disassembly drone, the drone seems delighted at how she stood up the drone thinks y/n is just giving herself up but no.

She pulls out the rail gun and glares at the drone, the drone seems now fascinated, but quickly launches at y/n.

The drones tail quickly swipes at her, scratching her eye screen, But before the drone could pull her tail away, y/n grabs it, pulling on it as she held the rail gun under her arm and used her other hand to try and spawn a nulled hack.

The drone noticed the black hole looking thing in her hand and immediately ripped their tail away whether the nanite snapped off or not, which it did, She threw it to the side.

They were scared and y/n could tell, but she wasn't going to let a disassembly drone go.

The null in her hand grows bigger as the drone tries to quickly Get away.

But unfortunately things don't always go right for drones like them.

Once the null was big enough, it quickly locked on and executed the drone.

Nothing was left of the disassembly drone but its Nanite tail That was ripped off and thrown to the side, y/n puts a hand on her eye screen covering up one of her eyes as the solver was trying to take control, even though she didn't need it to.

Y/n can Manage her solver unlike Uzi the solver is more like a friend than an enemy to y/n, Uzi on the other hand has it different, But she finds a way to keep it relaxed.

Y/n looks at the pod, she was locked out, but she was persistent to find a way in.

After a while, all hope was lost, but eventually something had walked out of the pod, it was another drone except they looked pretty worn up and damaged.

It was a boy drone, suddenly it felt unusual to see boys.

:-| pops up on Y/n's eye screen as she takes a few steps back.

The drone looks at her, But it doesn't come after her, warnings pop up on its eye screen as it falls out of the pod and Shuts off.

she stares at the murder drone body on the ground.

She's feeling a sense of worry, but she doesn't know why, this... disassembly drone just passed out before her, it saw her, but didn't do anything not like it could anyways

Y/n sighs as she walks over to the fallen drone, Grabbing it by its arm and Pulling it inside the now open Spaceship thing.
