It took Luz at least a minute to realize that there was a tapping on her window. One of Luz's traits was that she got curious instantly. In a second she opened the window and a red bird. For some reason it looked familiar, but her curiosity got the better of her. When she saw a note clipped between the black beak of the bird, she quickly grabbed it. Surprisingly, the cute bird looked like it wasn't its first time seeing Luz. After reading the note she realized whose palismen it was.
Knowing you, I can tell you want to know why I sent my palismen to give you this so I'll say this straight. I want you to come to the Emperor's Castle with my palismen, and make sure to use invisibility glyphs! I don't want anyone seeing you. Also, Flapjack knows where he's going,so don't worry.

It was weird, but also very intriguing and Luz knew she had to go. This probably was her best chance at finding more about Emperor Belos, but could also be a trap. Her chances were probably less than 50/50, but Luz knew that opportunities like these are even rarer. She was going to take the chance, but Luz had to be careful and smart about this. She took some glyphs, invisibility ones obviously, and come to think about it, Hunter must have done some research on glyphs, as Luz doesn't remember telling him about invisibility ones. Luz decided not to tell Eda or King that she was going to the castle, probably was the better decision. Luz got on Hunter's palisman and was finally ready to take off. It was only then, she remembered how scared she was for flying on a staff.
