The Bait is Set

The Jeon family gathered in their opulent living room, finalizing their plans for the upcoming meeting with Kim Donghyun. This meeting was crucial, as it was their first step towards executing their revenge. Namjoon adjusted his tie, his expression stern.

"Remember, we stick to business. No mention of our true intentions," he said firmly.

Seokjin smoothed out the creases in Namjoon's suit and nodded. "We're here to gather information and ensure that Donghyun lowers his guard."

Yoongi, Hoseok, and Jungkook listened intently, their faces reflecting the seriousness of the situation. Jimin and Jihoon stood nearby, ready to support their family in any way necessary.

As they arrived at the Kim estate, they were greeted by the grandeur that only old money could display. The Kims' mansion exuded a sense of history and traditional wealth.

Donghyun welcomed them warmly, his smile wide and seemingly genuine. "Welcome, welcome! Please, come in. I've been looking forward to this meeting."

Namjoon responded with a polite smile. "Thank you for having us, Donghyun-ssi. We're looking forward to discussing our potential collaboration."

The Jeons followed Donghyun into a spacious room decorated with antique furniture and paintings which are really meaningful. They took their seats around a large mahogany table, the atmosphere buzzing with polite conversation and business jargon.

Namjoon began the discussion, outlining potential business collaborations. "We believe a partnership between our families could be mutually beneficial. Jeon Enterprises has always valued strategic alliances."

Donghyun nodded, his eyes gleaming with interest. "Indeed, Namjoon-ssi. I see great potential in this collaboration. Let's discuss the specifics."

The meeting continued smoothly, both sides exchanging ideas and laying the groundwork for future projects. The Jeons were careful to maintain their facade, masking their true intentions behind professional decorum.

Jimin leaned over to Jihoon and whispered, "They're buying it. Donghyun seems genuinely interested."

Jihoon nodded, his eyes scanning the room. "We need to keep our guard up. This is just the beginning."

As the meeting concluded, Donghyun stood, extending his hand. "It's been a pleasure. I propose we continue this conversation over dinner here again this evening. It will be a more relaxed setting."

Namjoon shook Donghyun's hand, a smile playing on his lips. "That sounds wonderful. We look forward to it."

The Jeons returned home, their expressions a mix of satisfaction and anticipation. Yoongi was the first to speak once they were behind closed doors. "He's taking the bait. We need to make sure we're ready for tonight."

Jungkook nodded, his eyes dark with determination. "I'll make sure everything is in place. We can't afford any mistakes."

Hoseok added, "Let's make sure we keep our emotions in check. We can't let him suspect anything."

The following evening, the Jeon family arrived at the Kim estate once again, this time for an informal dinner. They were greeted by Donghyun, who ushered them into a lavish dining room.

The table was set with exquisite china and crystal glasses, the air filled with the aroma of gourmet dishes.

Donghyun's demeanor was noticeably different from the previous day. He was more relaxed, his manner warm and inviting. "Please, make yourselves comfortable. My son will join us shortly."

As they settled in, a young man entered the room, his presence commanding attention. Kim Taehyung, introduced as Donghyun's beloved son, greeted the Jeons with a shy smile.
