Wedding Day

The sun rose on the wedding day, casting a golden hue over the city as Tae stood in front of the mirror, adjusting his tie. His reflection stared back at him, a mixture of anxiety and resignation clouding his eyes. Today was supposed to be a day of joy, but all he felt was dread.

Suddenly, the door swung open, and Donghyun stepped in, his expression dark and menacing. “Taehyung,” he said, his voice low and threatening, “remember what I told you. Don’t mess this up. You’re not just marrying Jungkook; you’re stepping into a trap that can easily crush you if you don’t follow the plan. And if you even think about revealing that I’m your uncle, I’ll make sure you regret it. Your parents’ last symbol, the orphanage that you protect it with your life.” he laughed at the end mockingly.

Tae swallowed hard, nodding. The orphanage had been his sanctuary after losing his parents, the only place he felt connected to their memory. “yes i rember." He said tiredly. I won’t let anything happen to it, he promised to himself, his voice barely above a whisper.

“Good,” Donghyun replied, his lips curling into a smirk as he turned to leave. “Make sure the Jeons think you’re the perfect bride. If you don’t, they will suffer too.” With that, he exited, leaving Tae to grapple with his despair.

As the minutes ticked by, Tae prepared for the wedding he never wanted. He adjusted his jacket and looked down at the suit that felt foreign against his skin. He had always dreamt of a beautiful family and a loving husband, a partner who would cherish him and support him through life’s ups and downs. Little did he know that today was going to mark the beginning of a living nightmare.

“Breathe, Tae,” he whispered to himself, forcing a smile even as tears threatened to spill. “Just get through this. It’s only for a little while.” He took a deep breath, trying to steel himself against the impending storm that loomed over him.

On the other side of the mansion, Jungkook stood on the balcony of his room, the cold glass pressing against his palm as he took a long sip of whisky. He watched the sun rise, the light piercing through the clouds, illuminating the city in a warm glow. Yet, in his heart, darkness lingered. The idea of marriage gnawed at him; it was an obligation, a calculated step in a plan he was determined to see through.

“Today, I’ll be the perfect husband,” Jungkook murmured to himself, a bitter smirk tugging at his lips. “But only until the marriage is over. Then, Taehyung will learn his place.”

“hey kook.” Jimin and Jihoon entered after knocking, breaking him from his thoughts. Their expressions were serious, their purpose clear.

“Are you ready, kook?” Jihoon asked, eyeing the whisky glass in Jungkook’s hand. “You need to keep your head clear for today.”

“Yeah, yeah. Just making sure I’m in the right mood,” Jungkook replied, a smirk playing on his lips. “We can’t let that Kim boy get away. He’ll suffer, and when he does, Donghyun will suffer too. It’s all about the plan.” Their eye darkned at the thought of Donghyun and Taehyung.

“Exactly!” Jimin chimed in, his eyes sparkling with mischief. “Just remember to keep up the charade. We have to play our parts perfectly.”

“Trust me, I will,” Jungkook assured them, the weight of his facade settling comfortably on his shoulders. As they discussed last-minute details, he couldn’t help but feel a rush of excitement mixed with a hint of guilt. Tae was just an innocent bystander in this twisted game.

Meanwhile, in the living room, Jin and Namjoon sat with Hoseok and Yoongi, discussing the day’s events. The atmosphere was tense, laced with anticipation. “Are we all clear on the plan?” Jin asked, looking around at the group.
