"Alpha?" I heard a voice behind me say.

I looked around me, not seeing Aphmau, but realizing that she wasn't Alpha anymore. I turned around to see a werewolf girl who must've been a freshman.

I smiled at her, "Yes?"

"I-er, well, there were some other werewolves who told me you could help me find my way around," she said as she shied behind her fiery-orange hair. I laughed a little. I could tell she was flushing.

"I can help you!" I said. "What class do you have?"

She handed me her schedule. The next class she had was creative writing.

"Looks like you've got creative writing," I said. "I can take you there."

"Thank you..." she mumbled.

We started to her classroom.

"So what's your name?" I asked.

"I'm Lola," she mumbled.

"That's a pretty name!" I said turning to look at her. "I'm Calistiya!"

I turned around so I wasn't walking backward and saw a frisbee approaching me. I ducked and it went over my head. I looked back to see who threw it.

It was Juniper. I sighed.

"Oops," he said.

"Juniper, you need to be more careful," I said.

"Why?" he asked. "That isn't fun."

"Fun things aren't always safe you know, I've been telling you this before I was even Alpha," I said.

Juniper was probably the most carefree werewolf out of all of us in the school. He didn't care about rules as long as he had fun.

"And. Why. Should. I. Care." Juniper said.

"Be. Cause. It. Is. What. A. Decent. Person. Would. Do." I said.

"No," Juniper said.

"A decent person would respect that they need to have fun!" he said, with a laugh.

I sighed, "Sorry, about that Lola, I'll finish getting you to class now."

I led Lola to her class and then came back to deal with Juniper.

"Juniper, class, now," I said.

"Why?" he asked, smirking.

"As Alpha Female of the school, I demand you get to your class immediately or I will have to enforce consequences," I said.

"Alright fine," he said, frowning. He walked off. I always knew how to get to him. Just use a strict tone and big words. I think he might have hippopotomonstrosesquippedaliophobia possibly.

I started to head to class when I saw Maria.

She smirked when she saw me. "Calistiya! I challenge you for the position of Alpha!"

I sighed, "This is what Kitten had to go through."

I took off my backpack and started looking through it. I knew Maria's weakness was food, so I came prepared.

"What are you doing?" Maria asked.

I pulled out a twinkie and her eyes followed it. I threw it and she went after it. I quickly left for my class so I wouldn't run into any more shenanigans.

I arrived in my math class late and explained to my teacher that I had to help another werewolf since I was the Alpha Female.

I left my math class and started to go to my next class, choir. I loved singing and dancing, not really in front of people as I had anxiety they would judge it which is why I like choir, because you aren't the only one singing and the voice seems like a whole so they can't tell if anyone messes up.

My inner talk about why I like singing in a group was interrupted by Daniel coming up to me.

"Calistiya! I need some help," Daniel said.

"What is it?" I asked.

Daniel told me about a situation in the lunch hall. I followed him there to find Juniper and a meif'wa arguing. Leo, one of the meif'wa sabers, was trying to get them away from each other.

"THAT'S NOT HOW YOU BUTTER BREAD ANYWAY!!" Juniper yelled.

They're arguing about how to butter bread?  I thought.

"What's the story?" I asked the meif'wa who was arguing with Juniper.

"Why Would You Ask Him?!" Juniper shouted at me.

I turned to him and said, "Because I don't trust you to tell the right facts."

I turned back around to the meif'wa boy.

"Well, I was bouncing my tennis ball on the ground as I walked - it's a bit of a habit - when this guy came up out of nowhere, snatched my ball, and started throwing it around, then it got stuck up in the tree," he said.

"Sounds like him, but you have your tennis ball," I said.

Daniel's eyes lit up as I pointed it out. I looked at him with slight frustration and looked back to the meif'wa.

"Yeah, Leo got it for me," he said.

"IT'S A BALL! HOW DO YOU EXPECT ME TO REACT?!" Juniper shouted.

"It's someone else's ball, you don't just snatch it," I argued back.

"But-" Juniper started.

I interrupted him, "Do you want me to say the words?"

He froze and backed down.

"So, how did this lead to buttering bread?" I asked.

"I can answer that for you," Leo said. "You two, get to class."

Juniper and the meif'wa left.

"Jiro, the meif'wa you just spoke to, was shouting at, that werewolf..." he said.

"His name is Juniper," I said.

"Ah, okay, he was shouting at Juniper about his ball and Juniper was shouting an argument of it being fun," Leo said, "then, Jiro said that sounded almost as stupid as buttering both sides of toast. Juniper started saying that you're supposed to butter both sides."

"That makes sense I guess," I said.

The bell rang and I freaked out.

"Late Again!" I exclaimed. "It's just my first day as Alpha!"

Leo chuckled, "If it makes you feel better, I've been late to my classes too."

"This is my first class I've been late too," Daniel said, behind me.

I jumped and turned around to look at him. He looked at me with confusion.

"Sorry, I just forgot you existed," I said.

We both laughed. Then, headed off to our classes.
