After the heartfelt dinner with her family, Ongsa decided to take a moment for herself. She headed to her old room for a refreshing shower, hoping to clear her mind and let the day's emotions settle. The warm water felt soothing against her skin, and as she stepped out of the shower, she noticed a missed FaceTime call from Sun. A smile spread across her face as she picked up her phone.
The call connected, and Sun's face appeared on the screen, her eyes bright with a hint of mischief.
"Huh, where are you? You're not at your apartment?" Sun asked, curious.
"I'm at home," Ongsa replied, her voice filled with warmth.
Sun's eyebrows lifted in surprise. "You're not at your place? I thought you'd be there."
Sun's eyes widened slightly, but she quickly smiled. "Anyways, I'm so proud of you."
Ongsa's heart fluttered at the unexpected compliment. "You do?"
"Yes," Sun confirmed, her voice soft and sincere. "I just missed you. Since you're just blocks away, I was thinking... can I come over and sleep beside you tonight?"
Ongsa's heart skipped a beat. "You want to come here?"
"Yes," Sun said with a playful grin. "I'm on my way. Is that okay?"
"Okay then, I can pick you up," Ongsa offered.
"No need," Sun said with a teasing tone. "I can drive P'SUNNY to get there."
Ongsa's eyes widened in surprise. "P'SUNNY?"
"Yes," Sun replied, her smile growing. "I bought it a few days ago. My old motorcycle's gone, but I got a new one. I was about to tell you."
"You're not telling me things lately," Ongsa teased. "I should have known so we could have picked it out together."
Sun chuckled softly. "Aww, are you mad? Sorry na, it just happened. Can you wait for me there?"
"I'll be in front," Ongsa promised.
As soon as the call ended, Ongsa quickly dressed in comfortable clothes, eager to see Sun. She ran out of her room, her heart racing with excitement. She spotted Alpha in the living room, reading a book.
"Where are you going?" Alpha asked, looking up from her book.
"Sun is coming with P'Sunny version 2," Ongsa said with a grin. "I want to see the new motorcycle again."
Without waiting for a response, Ongsa dashed out the door. Meanwhile, Sun had already started her motorcycle, P'SUNNY 2.0, and was making her way to Ongsa's home.
As Ongsa reached the front of the house, she saw the headlights of Sun's motorcycle approaching. The sight of the sleek new bike and Sun's radiant smile made Ongsa's heart swell with joy. Sun pulled up, parking the motorcycle with a flourish.
Ongsa rushed to Sun, her face lighting up with happiness. "You're here!"
Sun dismounted, her eyes sparkling. "I'm here, and I couldn't wait to see you."
"Help me lifted up it again" Sun said, and Ongsa quickly followed
Ongsa held Sun close. "I didn't know that I was able to see P'Sunny version 2.0" She said grinning.
"Do you wanna stroll around?"
"It's already late, maybe we can do that tomorrow morning?" Ongsa responded.
"Okay"
"Let's go up?" Ongsa suggested with a gentle smile. Sun nodded eagerly, her eyes sparkling with excitement. As they made their way upstairs, they were greeted by Alpha, who was still immersed in her book.
