T H A I R I
After finishing my tasked I went to the nearest cafe shop to relax and hung my cloak on the coat rack near the door. I sat near the glass window to have a better view of the outside. After finding comfort on my seat I asked my messenger to deliver my order so we can have our lunch and go straight home to have my siesta.
I strum my fingers on the table while reading the names of the new arrival Ruana in the city. And suddenly I feel her presence. The temperature suddenly drop with an eerie silence on the shop. Even she's still outside she's sending chills to me. I heard the bell tingles and she came inside letting her soots crawled like a ghost that makes the place screams terrors and even I tried to look away I know her eyes were directly pointing at my directions.
Without a clue I felt her palm slapped my face out of nowhere and send my butt fall off to the ground. The other costumers were shock about the sudden commotion but I just laughed to show that it was just a friendly greeting from a friend.
"Long time no see!" She greeted me with a wide smile
"Your slapped is weaker than the last time" I said while massaging my cheeks
"Oh lucky for you I'm in a mood"
"You haven't change a bit but you look rather prettier today... Just kidding" I pursed my lips when she glared at me. She's not used to be compliment that why she took it as an insults. She's Thanae an old friend of mine. She's also a reaper like me. We happens to be classmate in our junior year And she's always on top because of pressure of having a twin smart sister. Thana and we're in the same school. She's from another buildings that only hunt soul that committed sins a lot. They have a permission to enter hell and ordered the punisher to put the sinners from what layers they should be in place.
And I always winched and grinning a lot how she dragged the soul, she's like a man slaughter. Her eyes always burns red like fire on hell. I remember how she torn the soul of a sinner out of it's body. I saw how the person reacted when his soul been ripped out of his skin. With my wisdom having your soul ripped out is unimaginably painful. They might be twins but they have different responsibility.
She place an order and even treats me. I couldn't say no because she'll choke me in front of everyone and she doesn't care. We waited for a few minutes and the waitress came with our food and drinks.
"Here's your sorrow knight grim coffee and red velvet cake"
"And for you miss, Grim cheese macaroni salad, flies burger, spookghetti with spider Lily sauce may gusto po ba kayo?"
"No that's all, thank you"
"Are you going to watch the tournament?"
"I'm tired actually.."
"But you know the rules"
I strum my fingers again and sighed then rest my cheek on the back of my hand "Guess I have no choice"
After that we separated path and I'm going back to Shallow Grim university. Guess I won't be having my siesta now. She'll be late because she had some business to do first. I teleported at the school gate and I was greeted with a loud thunderstorm and the rain showered heavily. I sighed while soaking wet walking on the cement leading to the court. In school we aren't allowed to teleport we need to walk that's part of the rules.
"Thairi yow men hurry up!" I saw croseus calling me and I rush inside and he shut the door "Alam mo na ngang umuulan di kapa tumakbo sira kaba"
"Rain is blessing"
"Yeah right look at you, you even smell like a wet dog"
I smell myself "At least I smell like one"
"Ughhh!" He hissed at me with a hint of disgust
I took off my cloak and wring it then hung it near the railings. I didn't mind the noise from the inside. "Thairi I there's one seat....oh my gosh I just clean the floor this morning and you know how many hours it tooks me to finished! fine nevermind just help me clean mamaya" I just nodded my head and she knuckles her fingers " And stay back croseus I'm gonna give this a big blo.." without even telling me that she'll going to used her ability. My eyes turn dots when I saw my skin flew out of my bones and stuck on the wall.
"Now your good as new" she clapped her hands cheerfully
"Geez!" Croseus tried to hide his laughter while I took back my skin in place.
Nagsimula na ang laro habang ako nagbabalot pa ng linen sa braso ko di ko na muna nilagyan ang mukha ko dahil nagmamadali na rin akong pumunta sa upuan na nireserba sakin ni Velouria. My messenger sat on my lap while watching the fight in the center. There five school gathered in court Nakahanda narin ang kanilang manlalaro.
"How you look fine even in a messy hair?" Croseus complained "Yung mga babae sa ibang section ang ingay!"
"Sure kaba na sakin yan nakatingin?"
"Bakit San ba mata mo? Kanina ko pa naririnig ang pangalan mo na hinahanap ka ng mga fans mo"
"Ay taray ingit yarn" Velouria chuckles
"Unfair e wala sakin"
The emcee introduced the two components and I was surprised to see Thana to participate in badminton. I thought she'll be in volleyball teams.
"There's your baby girl!" Sabay siko niya sa kasama ko "Go Thana!!" Sigaw ni Velouria sabay tayo na kinatakip ko ng mukha dahil sa hiya. I saw her exposed legs and fitted shirt. What would Croseus think about this?
"I know it wasn't my intention to cover her but she's in sport and the staff would definitely kicked me out of the court"
Sabi ko na talaga magagalit to dahil masyadong maganda si Thana at parang kulang kuha niya ang atensyon ng mga kalalakihan sa school. Despite being the entitled crush campus her eyes remained on my bud beside me.
I saw how men from another class giggling as she's doing a warm up and her chest is bouncing. I side eyed Croseus and his face turn red, jaw clenched in anger "I had enough!" and croseus removed his cloak and used his ability to cover her. "She's not allowed to wear those in front of anyone beside me!"
"Ay jealous boyfie yarn"
"Basta Lagot siya sakin Mamaya"
"Taray di siya makapag concentrate kase ang bigat ng cloak mo sira kaba matatalo siya"
Thana narrowed her yes towards us and she wink and then readying herself and serve the shuttle perfectly.
Badminton is quite boring for me but when Thana started, she definitely brings the game. Like a queen.
"Go baby!!!!!!" Sigaw niya na kinalingon namin ni Velouria sabay rin kaming bumungisngis. I whistles on the cheerleading squat and I asked for two pompoms and the student below us gladly brought it and gave it to him. He even stood up shouting for her victory and i know Thana wouldn't missed that changes. Even she looks nonchalant and dull but her actions speaks her true feelings about croseus. Even his an idiot in my pov but his a fine man to keep.
"Sana all!" Sigaw ng ilan. Ket alam na ng iba na may kasintahan na si Thana patuloy parin sila sa paghanga at pag suporta sa kanya.
Natalo sa first round si Thana at nakita ko ang mahinahon niyang mata pero kulang nalang babaliin na niya ang badminton at kitang kita ko ang itim ng kanyang aura na mukhang galit na galit
"Sabi ko sayo yung cloak mo ang sagabal e!" Paninisi ni Velouria sa kanya
"Okay sorry na!" He immediately removed the cloak but then Thana holds it and shook her heads at him.
"It's fine" she mouth talked him. And he overly reacted like having a heart attack
And for the second round and another she won. And croseus even broke the rules and teleported to the centre and raise her girlfriend with a spin for congratulating her. And after that romantic scene he was dragged by the staff for his punishment hahah.
"Such an idiot" Velouria sighed in disappointment while I couldn't help but to laughed at him while being dragged away but still sending her a flying kiss out of the court.
