The Plan

One day in the Kingdom of Nurpolis, a group of friends were curious about the outside world behind the mountains. Their names were Lilly, Jason, Max, and Marley. A few days later they called at night to discuss the idea of going outside of the city.

"Hello?" Lilly asked in the call. "This is the right call, right? Who is 'dog lover'?"

"Oh hi, Lilly. Why are you so late to the call? By the way, I am dog lover." Jason asked.

"Sorry, I had to eat dinner first before joining the call. Oh, you are dog lover." Lilly said in a weird tone.

"Okay guys, enough chit-chat, we are supposed to talk about the idea, remember," Max said while whispering.

"Uh Max, why are you whispering?" Jason asked.

"Because my parents are asleep and I am also supposed to be sleeping too." , "But because I wanted to join the call, I secretly used my laptop to join." Max said.

"Okay, um-oh yeah, where is Marley?" Lilly asked.

"I don't know she hasn't joined yet." Jason said.

"Okay, let's just start without her then." Max said.

"Okay Max what is the plan?" Lilly asked excitedly.

"WHAT?! Plan?! I thought you guys were going to make the plan, not me!" Max said in a whispering voice of shock.

"What do you mean? It was your idea to go outside the city! Plus, you are the smart one." Lilly said smiling.

"Fine, So first we have to sneek in the school library because they have maps somewhere, I think. We are going to have to find it ourselves. We need to find a specific map that will lead us to the Shadow kingdom." Max said while whispering.

"Uhh Max, why would you want to go to one of the most dangerous kingdoms of all kingdoms?!" Jason asked in fear.

"Because, the Shadow Kingdom is not only dangerous, a legend said that a spirit called 'mistony' lives or hides there I think. Not only that, there is much things to explore. By going there, we could be famous to our kingdom because no researchers dare to go there. It is so dangerous but so cool, I heard they have lots of treasures too." Max said excitedly but still whispering.

"How can you be excited to go to a dark place with a possibly real spirit that can destroy all lands?! Maybe we should not follow Max."

"Hey guys what did I miss?" Marley said when she joined.

"You just missed Max saying that he wanted to go to the Shadow Kingdom which is one of the most dangerous places ever and can take someones life!" Jason screamed.

"Oh. Max, maybe we should go to a safer kingdom" Marley said in fear.

"Why? For what? All of the closest and safer kingdoms have already been explored, and the other safe and nice kingdoms are too far away. The only one we could go to that has never been explored to and closest is the Shadow Kingdom." Max said "And, they have a huge history with our kingdom and others. Which makes it more interesting!" Max said.

"Okay guys, for now, we are going to listen to Max's plan because I know that all of you wants to explore behind the mountains. We might or might not go to the Shadow Kingdom. So we will discuss this later. Okay." Lilly said in a calm voice.

"Okay, back to the plan. Now, once we get our hands on the map, go to an area in the kingdom where no cameras or people could see so we could look at the map and know where we are supposed to go. After that we wait a few days. I will keep the map with me and I will tell you when to pack and get ready to head out of the kingdom."
