1 day later...
Text Message: Meet at the local park now, everyone should be asleep at this time.
a few minutes later...
"Hi guys is everyone here?" Max asked.
"Yup seems like everyone...me, Jason, and Marley," Lilly responded.
"Okay now we need to break in or sneak into the school's library and get the map," Max said.
Max was always the smart one, and even though he knew this wasn't the best idea, he desperately wanted to explore the shadow kingdom and learn more about its history. No one knew much about the history of the Shadow Kingdom or even what it looked like. Most books about the "Shadow Bound" in the school library do not make sense and seem fake.
"Why do you do this Max, you are putting your friends and yourself in danger " Max was saying in his mind while heading to the school.
"Max...Max...MAX!" Jason shouted.
"Huh...oh sorry," Max said in a weird voice.
"We arrived at school." Jason said.
"Are you okay Max?" Marley asked.
"Oh uh...Never felt better!" Max said.
"Okay, now let's go to the roof, I know a place that we can get in through that should lead straight to the library." Max said. "Follow me."
A few minutes later...
"Now that we are in the library, don't make any noise and look for the map in the maps section" Max whispered.
...
"Psst...Pst...Max" Lilly whispered.
"Huh...OH Lilly you scared me" Max said while calming his nerves.
"Come."
Max signals everyone to come here with Max and Lilly
"Is this the right map?" Lilly asked.
"Yes, okay let's go back out the way we came. Fast." Max whispered.
"Why?" Marley asked.
"The school guards will soon be on duty to check every room, I will lead. Follow me." Max whispered.
"Oh no...The school guards are coming this way...we can't hide anywhere." Max whispered scared.
"LOOK FOR A WAY OUT QUICK!" Max whispered in a panic.
"THE WINDOW!" Jason whispered.
"HURRY! CLIMB OUT OF IT!" Max whispered scared.
They all jumped out of the window and closed it just in time before the security guard went in the room.
