AJ and Tobi sat on their porch, watching their two children, Emily (10) and Jackson (12), play in the yard. They had adopted them three years ago after getting married four four years ago, and their family was now complete.
As the sun set, AJ turned to Tobi, his eyes filled with love. Tobi smiled, and they shared a tender kiss, their lips meeting softly.
"I love you," AJ whispered.
"I love you too," Tobi replied, his voice barely audible.
Their children, sensing the moment, giggled and ran inside, leaving the couple alone.
Tobi's parents, who had started therapy years ago, were now holding hands, watching their grandchildren with joy. They had rekindled their love, thanks to AJ and Tobi's example.
As the stars appeared, AJ and Tobi sat together, grateful for their love, their family, and their second chance at happiness.
"I'm so proud of us," Tobi said, snuggling into AJ's side.
"Me too," AJ replied, wrapping his arm around Tobi. "We've come a long way."
