Beomgyu and Taehyun started a relationship that continued till the beginning of the story.
Beomgyu had a very destructive depression because of the loss of his younger cousin.
Kai joined the model industry at 16 because of a scam. Beomgyu and Taehyun joined the music industry at 18 and 17 (rock-pop genere)

Kai, a supermodel famous both in Korea and around the world for his exotic appearance, posted a photo on one of his social media with his childhood friend Beomgyu, pop star and member of the duo Black Roses, along with his boyfriend Taehyun.
The photo makes the internet explode with questions after questions about the couple of friends' outing, some even speculating a breakup between Beomgyu and Taehyun and a relationship between the pop star and the model.
The two in various interviews declare that they are childhood friends and have always supported each other from afar, since their companies prohibited and cut down any interactions between the three.

Then everything turns silent until in his various social media, Kai compliments the duo for their new single (and later their new album), which makes the internet explode once again, but this time no false speculation.
Outside of work, the two begin to hang out like in the old days, sometimes inviting Taehyun too, sometimes just the two boys.
Sometimes they posted photos or moments of their outings to who the public had gradually gotten used to see.
During those outings, however, Kai began to feel something for his childhood friend, it was no longer friendship, but a light infatuation that, at times, made him wish that the brown haired would become his and no one else's, even if he knew how much his friend loved his boyfriend and how it would've hurt Taehyun a break up like that.

Then the Internet exploded once again when at the Gucci fashion show at which Kai was a runway model for, Beomgyu and his boyfriend were also invited, some paparazzi and fans noticed some of the model's glances directed at his friend and some saw "a look of love" from the taller one.
The news caused a stir and inflamed spirits as everyone loved the Black Roses and no one wanted to see them split up or take up solo careers, some wanted them to get married even.

The issue remained pending when both the duo and the model were called to the AMAs, the duo was nominated for best duo/group and best pop song, while the model was one of the MCs of the evening.
When they showed up at the airport everyone noticed that both Beomgyu and Kai were wearing two parts of one of the suits weared by Kai in on of his recent magazine, the duo and the model even took the same plane.
During their stay in the United States the three went out together many times, Kai finally recognized his feelings for his friend, and Beomgyu began to recognize the butterflies in his stomach every time he saw both Taehyun and his friend... He was in love with both his boyfriend and his friend and this confused him a lot, until the day of the show arrived.
The interviewers on the red carpet asked more and more questions like "is there anyone you like at the moment?" "Your celebrity crush?" The duo always answered each other, while Kai reiterated that there was no one.
At the show the model presented the best pop song award, he read the winner's name, smiling widely, looking at his friend with a proud and loving look.
When the duo won, they both cried and Kai hugged them and reassured them until they were ready to make their speech, Beomgyu and Kai's eyes met... There they understood that the universe, fate, destiny, whatever you want to call it, had united them since they were little so that their love could be born.

At the after party, the three had fun drinking a few sips and decided that the eldest of the three would sleep at his friend's house, recalling a childhood memory, instead of the hotel with Taehyun, the latter accepted the idea since he trusted both of them and wanted them to be happy.

Then the two stopped posting anything about each other, they tried to go out less and less often to avoid the paparazzi, much more often all the three together to reassure Taehyun (and the public) or domestic outings at one or the others' house.

Taehyun eventually recognized that he couldn't force Beomgyu to love him again and even if he tried, nothing good would've come out of it, so instead of ruining forever their relationship, he had to let him go if they both wanted to be happy and remain friends.
So the two broke up and Beomgyu and Kai had the green light to finally declare their love that was then made of whispers, glances, secrets, in the shadow of everyone, Taehyun regardless of the pain was also happy for them and the two, even if they knew they were the reason of his broken heart, tried their best to keep up his spirit.
Kai and Beomgyu started dating and the news was made public.
Kai lost more work for a good while, but Black Roses released their most successful album.
Kai began to be more and more relevant for the duo, appearing in MVs, Behind the scenes, Vlogs, Posts and sometimes he attended interviews and awards in person.
With so much presence, Kai decided to take his bass and break the contract with his modeling agency and joining Black Roses as vocalist and bassist.
The two lived now together and people, and especially Black Roses fans, began to look favorably at the couple, seeing the chemistry that they brought to the trio.

FIVE YEARS LATER

It was the big day, Kai and Beomgyu were about to get married, Taehyun had helped the two organize the wedding, it was an intimate one, like ordinary people, not like VIPs or the most famous couple in the world, a title they acquired over time.
Kai was at the altar waiting for his groom who arrived accompanied by their friend and colleague, the two promised each other eternal love, exchanging rings and making everything official with the ritual kiss (the only thing that was published).
