I was resting in my room in the middle of the evening when my phone didn't stop ringing.
"Hello" I said
"Hello, Clárae" Some man said in the other line
"Who's this?" I asked
"Pietro" He answered
"Oh! Hi, Pietro! It's already 7:00pm, why did you call?" I asked
"Ano kasi eh, Uhm, Clárae pwede na ba natin ituloy yung naudlot natin na usapan? Nakapagpa reserved pa naman na ako sa Camelíte Restaurant. Kung ok lang sayo?" He asked
"Wow, Pietro! So, fast ha" I said shockingly
"Hehe, Sorry!" He said shyly
"It's ok, I'll be there" I said
It took me just 20 minutes to prepare, since ayoko rin na mag wait ng ganon katagal si Pietro kasi nakakahiya naman.
"Kuya Anjo! Can you drive me to the camelíte restaurant?" I asked
"No problem, Ma'am. Clá! Kahit po maghintay pa po ako rin ay ok na ok lang din po" He said while smiling
"Thank you, Kuya Anjo! Sabi ko na eh, you're my best driver eh!" Pambobola ko then kuya anjo just laughed
30 minutes is the traveling interval from my home up here to the restaurant. I said thanks to kuya anjo, and went inside immediately.
"Clárae" Pietro shouted and waving
"Oh, hi! I'm sorry it took me 30 minutes sa byahe" I said
"Ok lang yun, uhm, kakarating ko lang din. Upo ka muna" He said while holding my chair
"Wow, gentleman ha!" I joked
"Matagal na" He said while smiling
"So, what important are you going to say? At talagang this hour ka pa nagpa reserved ng restau?" I said
"Uhm, order muna tayo, Clárae" He said and I just nodded
He ordered for us and I just observed his movement, para kasi s'yang hindi si Pietro right now. Something is off, or I just overthinking lang.
"So, what now, Petpet?" I asked
"Huwag mo naman ako tawaging petpet, Clárae! Nakakahiya" He said shyly
"Sige na nga, so what now, Pietro?" I asked
"First, how's your day? I mean after the shoot?" He asked
"Exhausted but enjoyed. I expect din naman na this is what I will feel, since being an actor is not an easy job. Eh ikaw, how's your day?" I asked
"Dati pagod lang, pero ngayon parang gusto ko ng palaging may shoot sa Home Alone da Boulevard" He said
"Really? The set is so fun no? Also, the cast" I said and smiled
"Oo, sumaya lalo nung nandon ka" He said while smiling
"Me? Am I fun to be with ba sa set?" I asked
"Kahit nga ngumiti ka lang, masaya na ako eh" He said
Eh? Pietro is asking strangely, dalawa silang joker ni kuya manolo sa set. But if this is one of his jokes parang this is the first time na hindi s'ya nakakatuwa.
