A girl in a black dress runs, cloaked by the night.
"Stop, if you surrender now, we won't harm you," shouts a public security officer.
"Sorry, but I find your offer quite unappealing," the girl replies, continuing to run until she finds herself surrounded.
"You even mobilized the army for me. I didn't think you held me in such high regard," she taunts.
The officer with the megaphone yells, "Surrender and give yourself up!"
"Shoot if you must," she responds mockingly.
Machine guns and assault rifles fire their rounds, but an invisible barrier protects the girl.
"You've had your fun, now it's my turn, don't you think? Sink everything into darkness, Muramasa," she says loudly. A black blade materializes in her hand, and the soldiers around her are swallowed by a dark void.
"They're such fools to go against me. They should know this is how it ends; I don't even feel sorry for them anymore."
A surviving soldier pulls out a knife and charges at the girl.
She hears his footsteps and turns just before he reaches her. A momentary look of surprise and fear crosses her face, then everything explodes.
"He exploded too. They still don't realize it's all pointless. If only my parents were still here... It's all because of this power."
