**Leya's POV**

**A month passed without seeing him or having any information. I tried to contact him, but it was useless.**

**After a long day at work surrounded by idiots, I was back at my parents' house.**

⁃ I want to talk to both of you.
⁃ Yes, dear, said Dad.
⁃ Tell me everything. Where is Arber? What is happening here?
⁃ Leya, you're tired from work today. You should rest, said Mom.
⁃ Stop avoiding the conversation. I'm not a child anymore. What have you done?
⁃ We're planning to evict him in a few days. I'll bring the divorce papers and documents. He couldn't keep you safe. He did nothing for you. It took him a week or more to find you.
⁃ Dad, do you hear what you're saying?
⁃ Yes.
⁃ No, you don't hear. It was you who didn't protect me. It was you who told me to do whatever I wanted when I told you I was in danger. It was you who said I could come to you only if I agreed to marry him. It was you who didn't protect me. You broke the promise you made to your son-in-law. I didn't want to marry him, but now everything is different. I can't remove anyone from my life, especially when they risked their lives for me, and you did nothing. So tell me now, where is he?
⁃ He's in the house he lived in before marrying you, Dad said, looking down.
⁃ At least you did something right.
⁃ Leya, forgive me, dear, said Dad as I walked out.

**The door opened, and he was standing in front of me, just out of the shower with wet hair, dressed.**

⁃ Leya, he said in surprise.
⁃ Where will you hide now?
⁃ It's not...
⁃ I know how it is, I said as I entered his small, beautiful house.
⁃ Leya, you won't understand.
⁃ Arber, you don't need to justify yourself now. We don't want each other anymore. I was just very worried about you. In the end, you are my husband.
⁃ Your father forced me. I would never leave you.
⁃ But you did.
⁃ Leya, you're acting as if we're done with each other, and I made an unforgivable mistake by not writing to you or leaving.
⁃ Really?
⁃ Yes, I'm thinking.
⁃ Arber, if you have to tell me these things like a 15-year-old, I expected you to be more mature. I've been trying to find out about you every day for a month. Every night I couldn't sleep worrying about where you were. I asked everyone who knew you, and they all lied to me. I worried as a person, okay, because you were my husband. Even though we shouldn't be together, if you've decided, then bring those damn papers, sign them, and end this here with me. That's all I have to say.
