"Foxy?" Monty walked into the kitchen, Foxy leaning on the counter. His hand on his head, Monty walked behind him and put his hand on his shoulder.
"...I... I loved him. Y'know..?" Foxy looked down, Monty frowned and gave him a pat on the shoulder.
"I love him so much... I-i..." Foxy teared up, Monty stood by Foxy's side.
"I know. It's rough losing someone you loved... I've been through that countless of times... But we need to help each other, to find out who did this... Do you have anything I should know?" Montys voice was soft and gentle. Foxy took a deep breath and thought for a second.
"I got nothin'... All I know is that Bonnie left his room in the middle of the night. That's all I know... I was asleep, shockingly." Foxy looked down, Monty nods.
"Do you maybe... Know if Bonnie left to talk to someone? Often even?"
"No clue. He did leave to talk with someone but I have no idea who. Now... Could you please give me some space? I'm still trying to process what happened... To Bonnie..." Foxy had his hand on his head, leaning forward on the counter.
'I don't think he's going to talk anymore... Best I leave him alone.' Monty then walked out, he didn't know who else he could talk to. It's like everyone's statement was the same, almost. Monty then thought,
'Maybe I could search bedrooms. I can't check Chica's room... Because I know she didn't do it. Maybe Bonnie's room... Yeah, Bonnie's room. If I want to get anywhere, I best check the victims room.' He had his hand on his chin, holding it in thought. He looked up the stairs, the first door he saw was Bonnie's room. Monty walked up the stairs to Bonnie's room and grabbed the doorknob. But he was interrupted by Sun, he was away from Moon.
"What are you doing..?" He asked, Monty let go of the doorknob.
"I... I was just about to check Bonnie's room... If we want to figure out who did this, it's for the better that I search Bonnies room." Monty looked down at Sun who was looking away.
"Sun, it's okay. We will find out what happened and who did this... Alright..?" Monty held Sun's shoulders. Sun nods,
"Do what you have to do..."
"Thank you. Now why don't you go back with Moon?" Sun nods and walks off, Monty smiled a bit before turning back to Bonnie's door. He grabbed the doorknob and turned it. He opened the door and pushed it open, the bed was perfectly neat... As if no one ever laid on it. Monty looked around the room, he walked over to the vanity and opened a drawer, a note pad was there. It looked as if a page of it was torn out...
"That's weird... Hm." Monty grabbed the notepad and held it. Monty looked in the same drawer and found a pen, it might have been what Bonnie used to write something. Montys eyes narrowed before he turns to exit the room. He exited the room and closed the door behind him, he thought for a moment.
"Maybe I can find the note somewhere... Maybe the person there it in the fire after killing Bonnie." Monty then rushed downstairs and walked to the fireplace, he pushed some burnt wood, but the wood was warm...
"The fire was lit not to long ago..." Monty observed, but he went back on track and moved wood out of the way and found something, it was half of a note! It was a bit burnt though. But the confusing part was, how did the note not burn completely in the fire? Did the culprit put it out for any reason at all? Monty stood up and sat on the couch. He carefully reads the note, careful not to tear it considering his fragile it was after sitting in a fire.
"Meet me up in the attic when you can... We have something to discuss."
The note caught Monty off guard, Bonnie wrote this note, he knew he did but who did he write it to? That's the question Monty had to solve... He then felt a hand on his shoulder, it was Dan.
"Dan? Something you need?" Monty asked, Dan nods.
"I remembered something, something that could help us solve what happened... I completely forgot about it." Dan moved and sat by Monty. Monty listened,
"Last night, when Bonnie died... I remember going downstairs late at night for a drink, this was before the attic was found wide open because when I left my room it was closed. So it must've been before the murder had happened. But back on topic, I went downstairs and I heard something running away. That's when I saw a fire was lit. Considering it was late at night, I didn't see anyone even when I looked for the person who ran off... So after I couldn't find em I put the fire out."
"That explains how this note is still in a decent condition." Monty said, Dan raised an eyebrow.
"Note? Let me see..." Monty handed Dan the note and Dan reads it. He left out a small "hm" before giving it back.
"Well that means I was of good help?" Dan asked,
"Definitely! Thanks Dan..." Monty smiled and stood up.
"Any time! Sorry I didn't tell ya before, the whole thing just caused me to freeze up."
"It's alright Dan... You helped anyhow. See you later!" Monty walked away, he felt like he was getting closer to what happened. He felt like he could figure out who did it, but at the same time, he didn't want anyone to die. Not anyone he cared about.
