Bound By Hatred

The First Encounter

It was an early August morning when Zaras' mother walked in an found her sleeping
     "Zara'u Wake up"
She said as she shakes her a little bit
Zara wasn't a heavy sleeper so she immediately woke up
    "Are you not going to work today"
Zara just stared at her mother processing what she said and immediately she did, she got up in a haste and when straight to the bathroom to get ready as today was her first day at work and she wanted to make a good impression by the time she got out it was already 8:30 she was cursing herself as she quickly grab her breakfast and went straight out the gates as she was walking trying to held a cap the rain begun it wasn't a heavy rainfall but in the split of an eyeball the rain increased as she had just held a cap when she arrived at the venue she a little bit drenched she sighed as walked inside the workplace she was greeted by some women and she nodded she opened the door that will lead to where her colleagues are she peaked in before she fully went in
      "Good morning". An average looking man whose was sitted working on something
      "How may I help you" he said as she walked deeper in to the workplace
         "Ummm...... Am I here for the umm..... New assistant job"
She brought out her phone and showed him the Email she received stating that: she has been accepted as the new assistant for the CEO  and her work commence that very day.
After he read the Email he handed her phone back to her while he got up
       " Follow me"
And she did they walked a few steps and came across a huge tinted glass door  and it was covered the whole wall he knocked on the door and person on the other side said come in, he opened the door and she walked inside and she followed him inside a man was standing tin front of the glass wall looking up at the sky he turned and looked at them  with a straight face, the person who led her inside proceed
" Sir this is the interviewed for the job"
He nodded
The guy turned to look at  her gesturing for her to come forward as she did she bowed her head a little bit
     "I am  Zara Mahadi, and I look forward to working with you" he just ignored her like she was never there and walked to his desk while she continues
     " I sincerely apologize for being late "
He nodded his head a little and the guy who assisted her walked her to her station she was the only one there and it is a direct view to the CEO's office as the guy went on rambling to her about the does and don't as the president assistant and she was already bored
      "Got it" he said
       "Yes" she said as he walked away but he came back and she just looked at him weirdly
"Oh I forgot my name is Abdulkadir"
He said
"Zara"
She said and he nodded and went back to work  so she got upd and went to the mini kitchen and prepared tea and Cookies on a tray and took to the office and kept it at the table on the other side of the office which looked like a mini parlour and walked out.she was sitted on her chair doing nothing as she decided to watch some tiktok videos, she was already lost in the videos when she didn't realized the person in front of her. He knocked a little on the table
     " Aren't we supposed to be in a meeting right now" he said and she looked at the time and the screen of her computer which has he schedule on display and clearly enough he was supposed to be in a meeting 5 minutes ago she stood up
     "Yes that's correct sir"
He just walked pass her and she quickly grabbed some files and quickly followed him.
