Chapter 41: Damaged

"We're just getting to prison," Spencer said. "It shouldn't take too long."

"Great, call back when you're done with the interview," Parker said.

They sat down at their desk and placed the cup of tea next to the stack of files.

"Of course, I have to go, love you."

"Love you, too."

"Love you more."

"Okay, stop, we are NOT that kind of couple. Anyway, I got to meet with JJ, she wanted me to look over some files with her," Parker explained and the two ended the conversation.

Neuroscientist Dr. R. Joseph.

"And then-"

"I might be in big trouble," Garcia stormed into JJ's office.

"Come on in," the blonde woman murmured absently.

The technical analyst didn't seem to notice that JJ and Parker were in a small meeting. She paced around in the office and talking to herself

"I can't believe he showed up at my apartment."

"It's not like Parker and I are doing anything here."

"We just had a seminar on fraternization last week!"

"We really have a lot of work to do, Penny," said Parker.

They saw that she wanted to tell them and JJ something, but it was not the time for this right now.

Garcia stopped and looked at her colleagues.

"So you don't want to hear how Agent Rossi showed up at my door in the middle of the night, while I was enjoying a post-coital shower with fellow FBI Technical Analyst Kevin Lynch?"

And now Garcia had JJ and Parker full attention.

"Sit," JJ said, pointing to the empty chair next to Parker.

"So, you were in the shower with Kevin Lynch?" Parker repeated.

"Come on, guys, I'm being serious. I need your help."

"With what?", JJ chuckled.

"Agent Rossi. We're not supposed to date fellow Bureau employees."

"From what I hear, Rossi is the reason most of these fraternization rules even exist, okay?" Parker tried to reassure Garcia.

"Yeah, I mean, he has no problem with Spencer and Parker dating," JJ agreed. "So, why would he have a problem with you and Kevin? He's not going to tell anyone. Just relax."

"Wait, what was Rossi doing at your apartment in the first place?

"Well, that's a good-" Garcia stopped mid sentence. "I'm not supposed to tell anyone."

"Why?"

"I didn't press the issue. I was all naked. And all drippy."

"Right."

"Doesn't showering with someone always seem like a better idea before you're actually doing it?" asked JJ.

Parker scoffed and nodded along with Garcia.

"Yes, it is a bit of a workout," confirmed Garcia.

"I mean, there comes a point when a girl's just got to wash her hair alone, you know?" JJ commented.
