3 - Being a Vigilante Can be Boring

Ten o'clock.

Feet clattered on the rooftops.

The sound of beating wings filled the air; followed by a mechanical whirring noise.

There was an occasional sound that could only be described as the air folding into itself.

The moon was hidden behind the clouds.

This is when the vigilantes thrived.

Tommy attempted to land on the rooftop and ultimately failed. His wing hit one of the poles as he was touching down, causing him to stumble and fall the remaining two feet to the ground. That was one thing about wings...They always got in the way.

"You alright?" Tubbo asked, hovering above him. Well, not Tubbo. Atomic. Atomic was a vigilante, Tubbo was an IT guy.

Tommy huffed. "Yeah, 'm fine."

Atomic dropped to the ground less painfully than Tommy had... Lucky bastard.

Atomic had been fed up with Tommy and Endgame being able to get wherever they wanted quickly(Endgame's teleportation and Tommy's wings), so he had invented a cool flying thingy.

It was modeled after bee's wings and he wore it on his back sort of like a backpack. There were two straps appatched to it that buckled around his chest and waist that connected to a box-ish looking thing on his back that held an engine. The wings also came out of the box.

Tommy didn't really understand it...Something about the engine making the wings move so fast they held his weight in the air...? Whatever. Atomic was the tech guy, not him.

The air folded as purple particles formed and Ranboo – Well, Endgame – appeared. He placed a hand on Atomic's head to steady himself, much to the chagrin of the shorter ram hybrid. "So, just normal patrols tonight?" He asked once he had his balance back.

"That's the plan," Atomic affirmed with a slight nod. "And remember – If you see Dream or Sapnap, do not engage with them. It's basically a suicide mission." He looked at Tommy for that. What! Tommy would never try to fight Dream! He could probably take Sapnap, though-

"Icarus. No."

"What!" Tommy said loudly, holding his hands up in the air as a gesture of surrender. "I wasn't doing anything!"

Atomic put his hands on his hips and raised an eyebrow at Tommy. "You better not."

Tommy huffed as Atomic stepped back. "How about we meet back here after an hour or two?" Endgame suggested, cracking his horrifically long fingers unconsciously.

Atomic and Tommy made eye contact. "Yeah, sure." "Fine with me."

As both Atomic and Endgame started to turn away, Tommy looked over their vigilante suits again. They were newer versions of the old, junky ones they had all once donned.

Atomic wore pale blue overalls that have nuclear symbols painted on the buttons. The overalls had big pockets for him to store his various explosives and gadget things. He also had two arm guards on each arm that were able to shield him and others from his explosions. He usually wore a bright yellow rain jacket looking thing under the overalls. He had found a gas mask one time and taken the bottom half of it to use for his vigilante outfit. It was black but had these yellow spikes on it...It looked cool, in Tommy's opinion.

Endgame's was pretty monochrome, but fit his theme. He donned a split dyed black and white mask, a black poncho over his shoulders, a tight white top and black and white checkered loose pants. Stuff you can find in a store, sure, but they went together okay. He also had these cool-looking sci-fi esque goggles that made his eyes look purple instead of one red and the other green. He also had one white glove and one black glove. Well, he stuck to his theme.
