She kept the file on the bed and sat on a nearby chair, rubbing her arms together. Her eyes were dropping because of how sleepy she was.

Divya came out and saw her still in the same soaked clothes.

"You haven't changed yet?" Divya asked when she saw her condition.

"I'll take a bath before I sleep." Drishti stated and went inside the bathroom, not before taking a fresh towel and clothes with her.

In 10 minutes she was dressed in a night suit. Rubbing her hairs with a towel, she came outside to see Divya using your phone. She rolled her eyes, keeping the towel on its place, she laid down on the bed and closed her eyes.

"Damn Miss. PA, slept already?" Divya said when she noticed her closed eyes.

She kept her phone on the night stand and finally laid down on the bed. She was about to sleep when she saw Drishti slept without any blanket.

She put the blanket on Drishti, carefully, to not to wake her up.

"Agar tum meri dushman nhi hoti, toh pakka best friend hoti." (If you weren't my enemy, you'd be my best friend)

She whispered smiling before dozing off to sleep.

The sun rose high in the sky as its gentle rays woke the people up. The air is crisp and filled with a melody of chirping birds, a symphony of nature welcoming the day.

The Shergill house is as always busy, some in business deals, some in kitchen and some in decorations as today is the engagement.

Rakshit came downstairs, followed by Drishti, as he sat on the dinning table for breakfast.

His mom served him breakfast as he started eating with Drishti standing behind him.

"Drishti beta, why don't you eat too?" Mahima said as Drishti shook her head gently.

"No no its okay ma'am, I'm fine."

After breakfast, everyone got busy in preparations.

EVENING

As the evening descended upon the Shergill house, the ambiance was transformed into a breathtaking display of elegance and grandeur. The halls were adorned with cascading drapes of rich fabrics in hues of gold and crimson, creating a regal atmosphere fit for a celebration.

Intricately designed floral arrangements graced every corner, filling the air with the sweet fragrance of fresh blooms. The tables were set with fine and sparkling crystal, reflecting the joy and anticipation of the occasion. Every detail, from the ornate chandeliers to the exquisite tapestries, spoke of a legacy of taste and refinement that had been carefully curated over generations.

As the house shimmered with the warmth of love and festivity, it was a testament to the grandeur of the Shergill family.

"Shalini, can you just go and find my matching dupatta? I'm busy here."

Tejashri {Rakshit's chachi (aunty)} [who arrived today morning from Bangalore] said to Shalini (Rakshit's 2nd chachi).

"Okay, bhabhi." She went towards the staircase but Tanvi, her 19 year old daughter called her.

"Ugh" she whispered before her eyes fell on Drishti who was checking everything with a list in her hands.

"Drishti beta, can you go to Tejashri bhabhi's room and find her matching dupatta? Tanvi called me just now in her room. She needs to try the engagement dress and needs my help."
