"Where are you bitch!" My farther yells from across the house as I hear glass shatter.

'He's not happy with me, especially not after I walked in on him with his friends in the living room. Instead of getting food like I wanted to do when I was out there, I turned around and ran back to my room. Closing the door, I slide down it sitting on the floor holding my breath. I can hear him apologizing to his friends as they leave the house. I get up and walk over to my bed, getting into my nest. I hear the front door open again and hear him stumbling around the house yelling for me.'

There's a pause in his movement before his loud footsteps start towards my room. 

I push myself deeper into my nest hoping that the blankets surrounding me could consume me whole, trying so desperately to block out the noises but I can't. With every step he takes I can smell his fury, his scent coming dangerously closer forcing an unwanted whimper to leave my lips. 

He swings open my door and comes straight for me grabbing a fist full of my hair pulling my head up so I can look at him. His grip is so strong leaving a stinging sensation on my head while the scent of burning rain mixed with alcohol invades my lungs making it hard for me to breathe.

When he leans down, that's when I see those deep blood red eyes. He raises his voice yanking me around as he talks "What have I said about leaving your room when my friends are here?"

 My hands shot up to my head grabbing at his wrists to try and stop the movement. Tears stinging the corner of my eyes as I managed to get out a stuttered "I-I'm sorry I-I-I th-thought they had l-l-l-left."

He drags me out of bed throwing me against the wall; I hit my head on impact causing my ears to ring hearing a faint "You better not embarrass me in front of my friends again" as he makes his way out of my room. 

I lie there on the floor curling into myself as I start to cry the pounding of my head overwhelming me. I start to lose focus of my surrounding feeling Nova close to the front. "I hate him" Nova growls out "Always hurting us for no reason" she takes control changing into are hybrid as we jump on the bed going to the corner so that we can go to sleep. 

"I-i-it's are fault h-he's that w-w-way"

I open my eyes looking at the sky. I'm laying down, my arms and legs spread out, but my clothes are wet. I can feel water all around me getting up I can see a silhouette of a woman in front of me holding the hand of a little boy. I can hear them faintly talking to each other, the laughter of the little boy becoming louder. I reach out for them running as fast as my small legs can take me calling out to them. 

"Wait... stop.... p-please......"

 I can hear the water splashing almost echoing around this place with each step that I take. Their voices are getting louder, but they still can't hear me. 

"Please...... M-mom......... don't leave with o-out me!" 

I finally catch up to them but when I'm about to grab ahold of her arm she disappears, and I fall forward hitting the ground on my hands and knees. I sit up hugging my knees to my chest, looking around I see the sky fading away leaving me sitting in darkness.
