Chapter 3* - The shed

I got inside the car, this time in the back seat, left with my thoughts, which were a lot. I thought how would the night go at Jake's, if he really meant what he said, about missing me, how Embry and Quill would react when we walked inside the shed, everything I could possibly worry about. 
I saw the trees pass by as Alex drove quicker by the minute, as she always does, "Lex, slow down. I don't want to die young.." I joked and she scoffed, while me and Hope laughed. I was getting unwell, and felt like I was going to puke. I hate this feeling, I always have it at the worst moment.
The moment the car stopped, my feeling was replaced with nervousness, my heart started beating faster and my breathing started to rush at the thought of being here again. Seeing him again. I got out of the car and before I realized someone had their arms around Hope's and Quill was running to me. He hugged me tightly and Embry did the same, but joked about being my sister's future boyfriend. I laughed at the thought of Hope giving him a chance. Like hell she would. Someone shoved Embry aside and gave me a tight hug, so tight that I couldn't breathe, I realized it was Jacob and my heart went out of my chest. He didn't let go of me until he realized, but still didn't let go of his grasp, he held both of my arms and gave a kiss on the cheek and whispered in my ear sending shivers down my spine, "I'm glad you came." He pulled me away and gave me a cheesy smile and I looked down to my feet smiling. It was awfully quiet after that, then Embry cleared his throat, "What are you guys doing here?" He asked with a grin. "I'm going over to Sam's.." before Alex could finish Jacob interrupted her, "What?! You hang out with Sam too?!" He almost yelled, sometimes it was annoying how possessive and angry he could get over simple things. "Jacob.." I said calmly, like if I said in a normal tone he would lose his head, and searched for his hand and took it in mine, our fingers intertwined, he gave me a sweet smile and started to calm down. "Chill Pocahontas." Alex said and the boys bursted out laughing at the nickname. Jacob looked really pissed, his face was twitching out of anger as he answered, "Really? A Disney princess? You can do better." Alex shot him a look, "Fine Moana, just don't lose yourself in the sea." The boys laughed harder and Jacob took his hand out of mine and stomped his feet back to the shed. I couldn't hold it anymore and bursted out laughing with them.
I saw Jake peek his head out of the shed and look at me, not any kind of look, but a desired one. I never felt like the hook up we had before would affect both of us like this. I love him, and hope that he loves me back.
I walked to Alex and said my good-byes, and told her the hour we would probably want to leave. "Don't worry. You know how Hope is. She'll get tired and say she'll get me." She responded and I nodded. Me, Hope, Embry and Quil went inside as Alex's car drove out of the driveway. As soon as we got inside Jacob had this look of anger planted on his face, he was fixing an old truck. I sat down and Quil sat next to me, while Embry drooled over my sister. We started talking and after a few minutes Jacob joined in and swooshed Quil away so he could sit next to me. He lifted his arms to rest over my shoulders.

After a few hours of laughing, talking and eating pizza, Hope started to drift off to sleep. "Hey Hope.." I said while shaking her lightly, she groaned, "Hmm.." I nodded to Embry and Quil, "Go with her to Sam's and go get Alex." I said and they nodded at me. "Hope, go with Quil and Embry to Sam's and get Alex." She eventually nodded, got up and left with the boys. I turned over to see that Jacob was already staring at me, with the same look of desire from earlier. "Jake.." He drifted his gaze to my lips, "Yeah?" he answered, taking his gaze up and down my body. "What are you thinking?" I asked as I seated next to him, leaning my head against his shoulder, "You." he answers. My natural instinct is to back away, but he almost instantly held my wrist.
