THE DAYS AFTER WHAT HAPPENED affected everyone so differently
For Nate, it wasn't the 38 missed calls from Cassie that concerned him, it was the fact that there were zero calls from Maddy
Part of the reason Nate loved Maddy so much as he did is because she was loyal. But it's also what scared the living shit out of him
If anyone crossed her, she'd bury them. And he had now really fucking crossed her
And there was no doubt in Nate's mind what Maddy what about to do.
" You know when a kid shoots up a school and they go to interview the parents, and the parents are like, " We had no idea, he seemed, like totally normal." Maddy talks into the phone as she walks around Samantha's pool
" And everyone watching is like, " You're a fucking idiot. That's how I feel, but with Cassie."
" Look, with guys, I've never trusted her to be smart enough to handle herself." Damon mumbles out as he lays in his bed, staring at the ceiling
" What? Why?" Maddy questions, her fingers playing with the rings she has on
" Because she is the type of person who would fuck your boyfriend, just because he gave her the slightest bit of attention."
" I think I actually want to murder her, I know she's your twin sister but, i actually want to plan a murder and carry it out. Like a grisly murder. One that shocks the nation."
" That's more than understandable, but she's still my sister at the end of the day." Damon finds himself conflicted yet again, is it right to honor and defend his sisters name after everything she's done?
" Yeah but, Nate, he made us fight, and our child, dead or alive, is still your kid at the end of the day." Maddy's words make him want to sink into a hole and never come out.
" I don't want to talk about that." Damon clears his throat as he tries to change the conversation. " What about Nate?" Maddy sighs, looking down at her nails
