My Masterpiece ~DNF~

(George's POV)

Today is Saturday so that means I can sleep in, but the world is not with me. I woke up with my phone ringing on the nightstand. I slowly open my eyes and grab my phone. Karl is calling me. I answer the phone with a sigh and lay back down on my bed.

"Hi, Karl." I hear shuffling on the other side of the phone. "Sapnap told me why you changed dorms, I'm so sorry George, he never deserved you." I huffed out a breath. I hate everyone being sorry for me. I know I have people who care about me, but it gets annoying that people keep saying sorry. Like he cheated on me, there's nothing I can do to change it except live the rest of my life to the best I can.

"Thanks, Karl." I got up from my bed and headed to the bathroom. "Hey, wanna hang out later? Me and Sapnap are okay now." I nodded and then remembered he couldn't see me. "Sure, what do you wanna do?" I grabbed my toothbrush and ran it under cold water. "I thought we could just drive around and see what we might wanna do?" I put a small glob of toothpaste on and ran it under more cold water. "Ok, that sounds cool. I guess just meet me at my dorm in a few?" I started brushing my teeth. "Alright, I'll see you in about an hour. Bye, George!" We hung up and I continued brushing my teeth.

After I was done brushing my teeth I got in the shower to rinse off. For clothes, I decided on Grey sweatpants and a lavender hoodie. I got changed and left my room to see what was going on. It was around 12:30 and Karl would be here at 1:00. I saw Dream on the couch on his phone, he looked up and smiled. "Morning." I laughed. "It's 12:30, idiot." He started laughing, and we got into a laughing fit. After we calmed down I asked. "Hey, would you wanna go out with me and my friends? We're just going to drive around and see what there is to do." I could see him thinking about it.

"Who are your friends?" He asked. "Sapnap and Karl," I replied. "Don't you know Sapnap?" I questioned. "I do know Sapnap and Karl. I guess I could go then." He nodded.

A few seconds later I heard a knock on the door. "George let us in!" I laughed at Karl and opened the door, Karl hurried and gave me a big hug. "Hi, hi, how are you doing?" He pulled away and looked at me. "I'm actually...Good," I nodded. "yeah, good." Karl smiled at me and jumped up and down. I looked at Sapnap and asked. "How did it go last night?" Sapnap walked close to me. "It went well, we're going on a date tomorrow." It was now my turn to jump up and down.

"You ready, George?" Karl asked, still giggling. "Yes, also Dream's coming with!" I smiled. "Sounds good to me," Sapnap said and grabbed Dream's arm. "Let's go!" We all walked out of the room, Dream locking it behind us. Me and Karl raced down the hall to see who was the fastest. I won. "George, you cheater! You got a headstart." Karl pouted. "No," I giggled. "you're just a slow runner."  Dream and Sapnap were behind us laughing.

We went down the elevator and walked down the hall to the doors. My mom waved to us. "Hey, boys, where you off to?" My Mom walked up to us and put her hand on my shoulder. "We were just going to go for a drive." My Mom nodded to Karl. "Well have fun boys, and be extra careful George." I pushed my Mom off my shoulder and she laughed. "I always am, Mom." After talking for a few minutes we walked out to the car. Everybody decided on my car because it was the nicest.

"George, how do you even afford this?" Sapnap opened the back door so he could sit with Karl, and Dream was sitting in the passenger seat. "My mom's rich, what can I say?" I laughed and put my seatbelt on. "So you use mommy's money and get whatever you want?" Sapnap laughed and held his stomach, everybody else was laughing too. "Woah, woah, woah, absolutely not Sapnap," I turned around and flicked him. "you know I don't do that." Dream laughed his amazing laugh, and I just stared in awe.

"Ok, where do you want to go?" I asked everybody. "How about we go get some ice cream?" Dream suggested. "Good idea, we'll do that." I started my car and pulled out of the driveway. As we were driving to the ice cream place I could see Dream give me small glances once in a while. I would catch him and he would burn bright red and look away.

I pulled into the driveway and found a place to park. After I was done parking everybody got out and we started walking into the building. Sapnap got a peanut butter cup and vanilla cone, I got a chocolate and vanilla twist, Dream got an Oreo milkshake, and Karl got a caramel and chocolate cone. After I paid we all sat down at the bench outside.

"George, you got the lamest one." Karl licked his cone. "No! Dream did, he just got a milkshake." I laughed while looking at Dream. Everybody agreed Dream's was the lamest one and he even agreed.

We all sat laughing at each other. I kept stealing small glances at Dream and he did the same. I know me and Jake just broke up but when I see Dream I don't feel any heartbreak. I know it's been only a day since I met him but I feel like I've known him forever.

Everybody was happy and laughing and we just sat like that for an hour even though everybody had already finished their ice cream. We enjoyed everybody's company.

Today is the best day ever.
