Harper noticed how the girls were freezing being so high up on the mountain, she told them to come close to her to share the heat. Even though she wanted Bella to be as far away as possible she kept her mouth shut when Bella cuddled into her right side and Madison cuddled into her left.
As the girls fell asleep Harper noticed the way Jasper looked at Madison. "You know." Harper said getting Jasper's attention. "For a bloodsucker you're not that bad."
Jasper let a small smile grow on his face. "For a fleabag you're not too bad either."
Harper let out a small chuckle, before letting her face go flat. "Hurt her and I will rip off your dick before every other limb on your body, make you chew it and put you on fire. Then before it's too late, I will blow out the fire, let you heal and do it all over again."
Jasper looked slightly shocked but nodded his head. "I would let you."
Harper smile. "Glad we came to an understanding."

Harper and Jasper stayed with the girls as Seth did the perimeter watch. Harper was looking around as Jasper talked to the girls. She could hear the newborns number's dropping and almost thought about joining the rest of the pack before she caught a vampire's scent. Harper turned to Seth. Seth, time to go.
But I can-
Seth. I'm sorry but not the time to argue, now go. Although Seth didn't like it, he left to somewhere that is hopefully safe.
All of the sudden Edward come out from the bushes and ran towards the group. "Stay here." Edward ordered them. "There's two of them.
Not long after that an unknown but familiar looking vampire come out behind a tree. Edward stepped up in front of the group while Jasper stood in front of Madison. "Riley, listen to me. Victoria's just using you to distract us. She knows that we will kill you. In fact, she'll be glad she doesn't have to deal with you anymore."
"Don't listen." Victoria interrupted. "I told you about their mind tricks."
"I can read her mind. So I know what she thinks of you."
"He's lying."
Harper let out a low growl as Riley was walking closer.
"She only created you and this army to avenge her true mate, James." Riley started to slowly turn his head towards Victoria. "That's the only thing she cares about. Not you." Riley looked towards Victoria to see if Edward was telling the truth.
Victoria had a slight panicked looked on her face as she looked back at Riley. "There's only you. You know that."
"Think about it." Edward says as Riley looks back at him. "You're from Forks. You know the area. That's the only reason she chose you. She doesn't love you."
"Riley. Don't let him do this to us. You know I love you."
Riley took a couple more steps forward ignoring Harper's growl. "You're dead." Riley lunged at the group but was quickly taken down by Seth.
Harper let out a small whimper at the thought of Seth being hurt and quickly ran over to help him with the young vampire. It take them too long to start ripping him apart. Two against one, the odds were too the shifter. Riley quickly learned that Edward was telling the truth when he was calling out to Victoria, and she did nothing to help him.
Hearing that the Volturi was coming, with the help of Edward, Harper managed to convince Madison to get on her back and take them home. Luckily none of the shifters were hurt too badly.
