From there, their relationship only when forward, but they still kept it on the low and didn't want to rush things. They saw each other more, Jason making detours to pick her up at school, on the days she didn't go directly at the Manor, meeting her with a coffee in front of her apartment in the mornings and even meet her with lunch when he knew Damian and Jon wouldn't be with her.
When the spring came back, Marinette started to patrol in the Bats' shadows has Ladybug, not wanting to interfere. She was mostly out to run and distribute food and clothes to the street kids.
In April one night, she heard fight and some gunshots and went to check, only to find Red Hood, in an alley bleeding profusely from multiple stab wounds. She started to cry, while trying to wake him up, calling the name of the man she loved. When nothing she did could wake him up, she took Kaalki's glasses from her yoyo and unified the two miraculous, teleporting to her apartment on the other side of the city. Marinette got her first aid and her sewing kits and started to treat the vigilantes' injuries.
She had to cut most of his shirt and took off his helmet, to clean every cut and patch them. Once she was done, with Tikki's help, she was able to heal the life threating stab wounds, hoping to save Jason. Luckily, the bleeding stopped, and they saved his liver, who had been almost cut in half.
Once Jason was stable, she cleaned his torso and back, to get all the blood and off his skin. She was a blushing mess and the kwamis did not helped with all of their teasing. The half naked man in front of her, was the one she would daydream about, think of all day long and even masturbated to in the evening, and he was hot. No! that was definitely an understatement. He was SO FUCKING HOT! Passing the tip of her fingers on the skin of chest and abdomen she was amazed by his muscles definition. She watched over him for the next hour, slowly passing her fingers through his hair. Marinette wanted to make sure he was okay before moving him and getting a shower for herself, when his breathing was more stable and the bleeding stopped a little, she picked him up, with all her strength and took him to her bed, so he could rest better.
After a much-needed hot shower, Marinette got ready for bed and made sure the kwamis were all set for the night. She plugged her phone and slipped under the covers, on the other side of her queen side bed. She made sure Jason's injuries were okay before falling asleep looking at his handsome profile.

Before he could open his eyes, Jason was struck by a sharp pain, he was not sure if it was on his skin or on the inside of his abdomen. He tried to move but it was too much at once and he let out a growl, gritting his teeth. The vigilante was so focused on the pain, that he didn't hear the young woman, next to him, calling his name. He only noticed her when she finally put a hand on his arm.
"Jason, please, look at me!" her voice was almost pleading, so caring. He looked at her eyes and relaxed, making her smile.
"Oh God, I love her smile..." he thought recognizing Marinette, now sitting next to him in the bed. The young designer giggled and blushed and he soon realised he had said that aloud.
"Don't move Jay! I want to make sure your injuries are okay, before you get up," she said going to find her first aid kit and examining his torso and cleaning the cuts, she wasn't able to fully heal the previous night.
Her soft fingers moving on him, made his breathing harder, he had to control himself not to pull her to him and make love to her. She was like a drug to him, and he had never touched her, but the small pyjamas short she was wearing were more than enough to make him harder than his already noticeable morning wood. Her hands on top of his liver were warm, a couple of minutes later he could finally sit up on his own.
Marinette showed him to the bathroom, before heading to the kitchen to make coffee and breakfast. He looked into the mirror and realized he was still wearing his uniform and would probably find his guns and helmet in the living room. Meaning Marinette knew who he was and rapidly connect the dots with the rest of his family.
"Shit! B won't like it."
He than noticed his injuries. He remembered the fight quite clearly and he was pretty sure he was stabbed more then four times. It was almost as if he scratched by a kitten, not being in a knife fight with three gang members. He brushed it off and cleaned himself and put on a t-shirt Marinette had given him, it was perfect for him.
He walked in the kitchen to find Marinette on her tiptoes desperately trying to get what seemed to be her coffee beans grinder but couldn't reach the top shelf. Jason walked up to her and softly put a hand on her waist, while the other got the wanted object for her. He felt her stiffened before she relaxed at his touch, she turned, and he saw her evident blush when she smiled at him.
At that exact moment, Jason Todd lost it...
